I feel like a lot of sims builders make very on-trend and high-end builds that are very beautiful and skilled builds, but I really love your "realistic" builds because... That's how most people live! Most of us aren't millionaires. I like the stories of the ordinary, you know? I love how you frequently incorporate your lived experiences into your builds, like how you mentioned several personal touches in your High School Years builds. Thank you for filling that niche!!

How cool would it be if the Sims had a blanket item that you could interact with. Like it could be draped on furniture, hung up on walls, folded up, left on the floor by kids, worn, etc. Sims could wrap themselves into a burrito when they sleep on the couch, drape it around themselves on a cold day. And of course they’d come in a bunch of swatches ahhhh. So many possibilities

I love how realistic your builds are. There is clutter in most homes, after all, and most of us cannot afford new trendy furniture on a regular basis, there's wear and tear and outdated stuff.

The way you clutter is very inspiring, because it looks so cute and cozy. I clutter in my own builds because of you, thank you so much for all your lovely builds! 💜 And I just installed tool but I don't know how to use it well 😂😂 I'll have to watch those tutorials

I really love this apartment! I recently built a home that had carpet in the bedrooms and I tried to make it look more “lived in”. This build really reminded me of it and when you said you’ve actually never lived somewhere that wasn’t fully beige carpeted- same! I’m gonna have to use carpet in my builds more

This appartement is still more orderly than my room. I also like the lighter colours! What i often see are those round corner tubs. We have one and use it primaly as a shower

I really agree with having more shower tub combos because EA has so many crazy swatches on other items that you would never use them on , but then when it comes to certain items they are so bland and have a very small selection.

I would call it. “Lived in” house that is used to its full potential everyday. So things are being used/worn.

What? Is English your first language? Not being rude, but what you said sounds a bit offensive.
@hoihoiroo
@hoihoiroo 2 года назад
@@sunshineyrainbows13 Excuse me? Is English your first language? (preferred: Are you a native English speaker?) Not to be rude, but what you said sounds a bit (preferred: somewhat, kind off) offensive. (also: not being rude, what you said sounds a bit offensive - oral, informal)
@sunshineyrainbows13
@sunshineyrainbows13 2 года назад
@@hoihoiroo "How you give up" can sound objectively offensive. I was not trying to play grammar police, I was simply pointing that out. If you're going to attempt to correct my politeness, at least do it politely yourself and not haughtily. Though I do agree I could have worded it more politely. I apologize to OP if it came off offensive. I am POC raised in a bilingual house and I don't look down on anyone who speaks broken English (my English is not perfect either), but this particular comment confused me and made me think it might even be sarcastic. That is all.
@hoihoiroo
@hoihoiroo 2 года назад
@@sunshineyrainbows13 OK... Here we go: The OP's sentence is grammatical, but semantically marked, that is, the structure sounds right to the brain, but the words don't make sense. In this case because there is an obvious mistake in the verb choice. On monolingual native speakers, such a sentence is 'flagged' by the brain, and the OP recognized as foreigner and the semantic flaw discarded as a mistake, or even 'auto-completed' with a more appropriate verb. I must say, I did not react to a lack of politeness, but to what I perceived as haughtiness from an L1 speaker to an L2 speaker - an L2 speaker who was trying their best to communicate with someone they love in a language they do not feel confident with. Therefore, I decided to give you a standard L2 correction of your own text (btw, there's a typo on it; sorry). Your being bilingual changes everything, as you do not process language in the same way (literally: bilinguals use the space between the brain hemispheres and monolinguals don't). Because you are bilingual, the 'foreigner flag' may not have been raised (especially if your two languages are very different), thus making "I love how you give up" a plausible sentence when, to a monolingual native, it is not. If the sentence was plausible, it would indeed be objectively offensive. However, it's non-plausible, and as such, objectively inoffensive. In other words, being bilingual makes you try to make sense of more things than other people, and in this case, it made you consider as possible sarcasm something that clearly wasn't. But because others don't interpret language in the same way, your post seemed disproportionate: what you wrote from a place of genuine concern is read as L2-bullying, and your answer to my post as back-pedaling. And so I decided to spend the best part of an hour explaining to others, and particularly Tonya, whom you obviously like, that that's not the case, because I'd feel guilty if I let you look like some bully who'd take any lame excuse to start a fight when I could have explained why you aren't.

This looks really pretty- is it playable? Like. do sims try to sit on the sofa where the laundry basket is and that kind of thing?
@purplecosmonaut

Rugs on top of carpets? btw I'm not sure about it but was this playtested? It kinda looks like the sims can't walk around the coffee table to sit on the couches.

Rugs on top of carpets is super common! and everything should work. I cannot remember if I tested the couch/coffee table but would be a super easy fix if its a little too close!

@@Gryphi I see I just thought that a table would be realistic since the family would probably want to sit somewhere other then on the sofa when eating. Nevertheless a lovely build🥰
