The falafel as bread is genius. Don't have a waffle maker so shaped the mix into thin rectangles and baked them. So delicious it's now on my meal rotation. Low on veg so filling was just pickled cucumbers, romaine and spicy lemon tahini sauce. Thanks for another delicious recipe
Had your falafel recipe for lunch today. Used it as an open-faced sandwich with a pea spread, roasted bell pepper & broccoli sprouts. I've got some leftover falafel. Nice not to have to cook the chickpeas, I soaked them overnight.

I never spray the waffle iron. Once you do, you will continue to need to. Tips that work for me: preheat the waffle iron. Pour in. Let it cook completely. Then it should come out. Once you burn the non stick and scrub it clean, it tends to stick.
How much and for how long do you store your soaked chickpeas for Ami ? Are they just soaked and not cooked ? And yes for the sticky cauli recipe, please 🙏

I make tofu yogurt so tasty and easy. I block firm tofu 1/2 to 3/4 cup of plant milk 1 Tbsp to 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup..1tsp of vanilla or coconut extract or both. Blitz in blender put in fridge. Love it

That all looks delicious!!! I want to try the falafel waffle!!! I have seen people using cornmeal to help savory waffels not stick. They sprinkle it in the bottom before they add their batter and then on the top of the battet. I'm not sure how it would work but it's an idea.
The falafel waffle… OMG. It looked delicious and the crunch came through on the video. Love it! I don’t like using sprays as I found they tend to change the character of the waffle iron (or any non-stick surface).

Ami, why is your cereal recipe called "cereal" when It's a finely chopped fruit salad? 🤔 Looks delicious, though! That waffle falafel looks so good as a sandwich!!! I would love to try it. Psyllium husk is really weird. A little is great, like in oatmeal (1/2 teaspoon) for increased fiber and thickening. But too much turns recipes into rubber. I made that mistake with red lentil muffins. They were inedible and I had to throw them in the garbage, which was terrible bc I hate wasting food. Oh well, next time will use less. Love you, Amy!

Just know that kids need a high calorie diet.. so don't just feed em low calorie stuff.. So may be giving em bit more of nuts and seeds and high protein stuff could help em grow better..
Yesterday, I copied her recipe from her short clip, here it is: FALAFEL WAFFLE SANDWICH by Broccoli Mum Ingredients 1 cup raw chickpeas, soak for 6-8 hours or overnight 1/2 an onion 2 cloves of garlic 1/2 cup parsley 1 tsp baking powder 2 tbsp chickpea flour 1 tbsp cumin powder 1 tbsp coriander powder 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp salt 2 tbsp cornmeal to dust the waffle maker if necessary. Directions: 1. Soak chickpeas for 6-8 hours or overnight. Drain, rinse & add to a food processor with the remaining falafel ingredients. Blitz until combined. 2. Heat your waffle machine & sprinkle with cornmeal (if necessary) to prevent sticking. Cook for 5-10 minutes or until fully cooked & slightly crispy. 3. Add your favorite toppings & fold the waffle in half to create your sandwich!
