There are a lot of opportunities available for medical students interested in research. Some will be encouraged but others you’ll have to seek out by having conversations with your lecturers or clinicians. Do a little networking and if you’re a little shy, get their emails from your class rep and send them one. You’d be surprised by how many will respond positively
@@kween1917Sorry about the late response but the med sponsorship for U.W.I. does not require a physical application. Once you’ve applied for the med program and satisfy all the requirements you’d be considered given that you have all ones in cape Biology, Chemistry and another subject or your undergraduate gpa is at least 3.5 if you take that route. Also, you will be required to do voluntary hours for your application so if u can get that out of the way then it’ll save you some trouble. The sponsorship is very competitive which is why I’d suggest getting all ones but if u have more specific questions feel free to ask
