Retail worker here 🙋♀️ Take Zzquil at night. And remind yourself there is nothing you can do except for take care of the customers you have now. We have had ridiculous lines at work and I have found so much peace by just taking care of the customer at my register instead of worrying about the line. (A lesson that took 5 Holiday seasons to learn😅)
Annika - I will NEVA sip anything while watching your videos. I was drinking tea as you went down to the mailroom in your building and the combination of the notes on the wall, the shot of you shuffling away in your slippers and then the captions you wrote caused me to laugh until tea came out of my nose. I have not had that happen since I was in my teens...I am 52 now. You work so hard and because of that, your perfect and peaceful home is coming soon.

ive also been struggling with my sleeping habits as of late... with the help of my psychiatrist i figured out that giving myself 1-2 hours of no screen exposure before turning off the lights and going to sleep reallyyyy helps me feel rested in the morning. i also start slowly turning off more of my lights as the night progresses like a little sunset. also, having your eyes closed and resting even when you cant fall asleep will still do more for your energy levels than powering through!! (myth busters taught me that one) definitely saving that 🍎 jam recipe to try soon

I was having trouble sleeping bc of my racing thoughts and that eventually wound up with me in the hospital. While there, they put me on a med to help me fall asleep and stop my racing thoughts. That worked great for the most part except now I get them in the day, too 😅 But medication has helped me a lot. It doesn't really make me feel any different or anything, just makes me function properly lol. But maybe talk to a psych and see about medication if your anxiety is putting such a dent in your sleep and changing the way you're able to function. The first med might not always help, and you might have to experiment a bit with your psychiatrist to find what works for you, but idk, to me it's worth it.
Ack I feel you! Nov and dec are always such stressful times, especially this time around. I started working with uni, am going through uni finals, and had a drivers examination to get my full license🫠 Not to mention the seasonal depression 'cause here in Iceland the sun rises at 11am and starts setting around 15:30 and it's really fcking cold = incredibly hard to get out of bed. I've also been dealing with a lot of self-doubt, thinking there's not much I'm actually good at. Thankfully the most stressful parts are over and guess what! I'm still breathing. You'll get through this, we'll be here to cheer you on. Just remember to take it a step at a time, focus on what you can do right now in the present moment, 'cause worrying about stuff you can't control won't change anything (but your stress and worries are valid!). OMGG I have the SAME wagon and I did struggle with the closing part😂 to close the wagon you'll be able to see a pull tag (it's in the same color as the wagon so it's hard to see)in the middle of the wagon and just pull it, the wagon will close

🍎Jam! Some fruits and vegetables cause itchy hands but you're completely fine eating them. I believe it is a type of allergic reaction but your body is not necessarily allergic when you consume it. I'm not well educated on it but I definitely recommend just asking your doctor real quick next time, or even getting an allergy test❤
I also have a hard time shutting my brain off too. This is my 2nd night of no electronics within 1 hour of going to sleep. So far, not working. Last night, I remember looking at the clock, 1:30 am.... I was tired but couldn't fall asleep. What da heck 🫤😐😶 Gonna try again tonight. 🍎 jam
