This Oil Pastel is "blend"technique,I m using rough watercolor paper for binding oil pastel'pigments,and the tool called Color Shaper is very helpful to makes the blending very smooth

I believe they used a special tool to blend! Some people use cottons (cotton swabs or cotton balls) or brushes with some special liquid made for blending pastels!! Hope that helped! :]

Thank you for sharing the name of the blending tool you use. Where can I purchase one of those? I've been using my fingers and cotton cutips. It's tiresome though, and leaves my hands very sore.

Sonya Hill I just recently bought some shapers on Amazon and what a big difference it make. You can blend without the little particles or fuzzies getting stuck on the paper. I stopped using q-tips for that reason. But sometimes good paper towels are still the best for blending. I saw a lady use a piece of pipe foam also. So there r many things that probably work real good that people don’t know about.
@@ChoBee333 thank you so much, i never got fuzz, i used the long q-tips from my job off the biopsy trays, that they didn't use....it's wrapped tightly, and the company stop sending to me after i was ordering for a while....so i'm going to the art store and buying that tool you use...lol..thanks again.

And that no one sells oil pastel paintings because its not meant to sell. And that oil pastel is just for BEGGINERS? I am really sad about that news. Is it real? Is artist grade oil pastel also just for kids and for practice for oil painting
Hallo,thanks for comment😊,this kind of problem is happening with some oil pastel'artist in their country,most of peoples said oil pastel is for kids,but they dont know what difference crayon(basic wax/that kid's used) and oil pastel(basic oil),both is big different and result.,I have been sell my oil pastel paintings,,means not all peoples they look oil pastel is only for kid or begginers,..special when you can create and know how to use it
