Just gorgeous!!! I love roses and love painting them but they are such a challenge, especially those tight center petals and shadows.

I like both representations. In my own botanical work I prefer the classic white background. Any time I've attempted a background it looks messy, but that's my skill level. But there is something dramatic in the way it looks just white. I just enrolled in your Botanical Drawing Course. I'm very pleased and impressed by your presentation. I know my art will move to the next level through this course. Thank you.

very encouraging to me and motivating, I truly love painting/drawing flowers, I did do your flower challenge. But only got to day 3 when I hurt my back. I really love the dark background it makes it pop out and is more dramatic, appears more complete.
