I would love for them two add 1-2 lots to every neighborhood minus the three base games worlds, Widenburg, and Brindleton Bay because I think they’re all pretty solid!

I love this build, the large lots in Del Sol feel so awkward so using the shells is a really good idea. This home feels like a family actually lives there, it’s comforting!

I feel like they should’ve added the ability to have 2 households on one lot with this pack. Bc here in LA it’s so common for bigger pieces of land in the more city area to have duplexes rather than one home.

Laminate flooring is what you were trying to think about... lol and yesss. my dad had a recliner that was HIS spot. There was even an indent perfectly matched to where his head would rest. He's been gone since 2011 and when i think of him i still picture him in that recliner, chillin, watching the History channel. Miss him so much.

I love how realistic this house looks. The neighborhood looks older, so it makes sense that the house would also be older. I wish you could make over all the other houses in this neighborhood to look similar to this one. And yeah, this lot is massive. I’ve seen other builders put two houses on it.

I love building townhouses/row houses so I would be overjoyed to have the option to do multiple families on a single lot. I feel like people would get so creative with that and I'm surprised it hasn't been done by either EA or a CC creator yet. I'd also love to be able to have two different lot types on a single lot so I could do a functional store downstairs and functional apartment upstairs. Or a community lot that's both a gym and a cafe.

I did something kind of similar but I built three craftsman style homes on that lot but with a shared backyard. I remade the Crumplebottom witch sisters from TS3, gave them spouses and kids and pretend they are filming the in game “Growing Up Crumplebottom” reality show mentioned in game 😂 but I often do that with awkwardly large lots, build multiple homes and have family members or friends share the lot

Love this home! I haven't played any in del sol, but this house makes me want to! I also really don't like the lighting in copperdale. When I build I like to build in the morning lighting, and I literally can't do it there because it's dark like night time to me 🤣 I love the neighborhood, but the lighting is a little challenging.

it's so interesting how house 'standards' are so different all around the world. for example, here in the Netherlands you won't find a house without a closed off entry way, no matter how small the house is! whereas in the US, like you explained, i have barely seen any homes with an entry way. anyway, absolutely lOVE this build, so realistic and cute.

the house I grew up in had washer/dryer just through the kitchen, the first house my husband I owned was a washer/dryer in the kitchen. I think it's somewhat common in smaller homes. We moved into a much larger home and it has a separate washer/dryer/storage space.

There are some very awkward lots I think in Copperdale. Like - the lots in the middle of the forest, nothing I build fits there. Lol I did like the modern home you put there recently. I also can’t believe you have never seen washers and dryers in the kitchen. I grew up in a little “cookie cutter” housing development. A lot of the houses had them in their kitchens. I did think it was weird. Ours was tucked in a hallway. But it is something I have seen a lot of in the Midwest/Ohio.

The reason why older homes and mostly British homes have a washer in the kitchen is that when indoor plumbing was invented, water was only accessible from the kitchen. So, naturally, when indoor laundry machines were invented, that is where they went. Then indoor toilets became a thing, so they then went under the stairs and the stairs would be just on the other side of the wall to the kitchen. Over time, having the laundry in the kitchen became a cultural thing for boomers and British people :D

We don't even have a dining table at home- not because we can't afford one, but just because it'll get in the way because we don't have lots of room as both my parents are in wheelchairs (electric) and our kitchen is barely big enough for 3 people at once.

I’m wondering if anybody can help me? When I play the sims CAS works perfectly fine but when I go to build a house for them the build menu doesn’t load. I only get the top corner thing with the gallery and the part that lets you leave. It won’t even let me leave the game, I have to restart my Mac. The bottom part that has All the build stuff isn’t there. The top part with the color swatch or the sledgehammer isn’t there either. When I updated my game it started. Can somebody help ?

It’s from the Sims 3 camera. At the top of the screen there is a camera icon, if you select that & camera 3 it’ll be like this ☺️
