I don't find Jess vindictive whatsoever. It was very clear to me that she's extremely mature and holds herself like a Queen who refuses to be manipulated. She's logical, very genuine and funny too. I really dislike manipulative dramatic ppl tho. I also remember how empathetic and comforting she was to ALL the girls until she just couldn't because Harriet wasn't liking the fact that Jess wouldn't allow herself to be manipulated by her. I also remember the scenes of her comforting Harriet how many times.

This girl is 25 and still not self aware or mature? Being mean and hiding behind "telling it like it is" or "bring upfront" is not something to boast about. Imagine thinking that being an absolute cow to people is okay if you can take them being a cow to you. A whole 25 year old has such high school mean girl energy and wants to act like she is proud of it because unlike mature people, she doesn't have to watch she says.

it can come down to personality placed with accent. she's a northerner right? I;m Scottish and I know while friendly, the accent is harsh. Harriet's is cutesy and if saying some of the same stuff as jess it might not come across as brash

I saw her being so comforting to all the girls, Harriet included, but she just refused to be manipulated. Jess is very logical and has her head screwed on. If people got rid of social media and actually watched the show they would see that anytime a girl was upset they would go to Jess. Not Mimi, not Uma but Jess. Even Harriet would run to Jess for advice. Because she was the only girl that would actually say something. It's quite sad how she's been seen as a bully.
