Hey girl, your absolutely correct, i experience the SAME thing. Gave auditions from Mumbai, not only we went unnoticed but also Most preference was only given to girls who came from the agency. they were approx.22 women from one agency then how come 18 out of 22 get shortlisted!!! that too same women shortlisted from MH, RJ, and Goa as well like how the hell! Also the top 5 finalist from Up was also shortlisted for MH and Rajasthan like why the same girl again from multiple states!!! All these girls from agency as long as i remember didn't stand in queue for registration and came pretty late around 11 with all makeup and hair pre done very different from what they offer in touch ups also their entire food was PRE PAID like how? we were asked to buy food on our own expense how come everything is pre done for them. They even knew which state audition would come first and all the media coverage of Tops was covering all of us but only Featured those Agency girls on Miss India IG Page. Trust me this is absolutely unfair as I was not only trained in catwalk but also built my body since last 1 year and got skinny!! This isnt fair at all the judges are paid and org is real KUDDOS TO YOU FOR HAVING COUGARE TO POST THIS VIDEO, PROUD OF YOU
Yes because the second day after the audition, I felt like a dream being shattered. But then I realise others who worked hard for real also didnt make it. I hope a lot of girls dreaming in india see this & dont waste their money & time in this.
All the girls were from times talent under times group. Bennet university and femina and times talent is all under times group. Winners were predetermined
Every year girls that don’t get selected make a video like this calling out Miss India when in fact you have destroyed all your chance in working with Times group ever again. And you wonder why they didn’t select you. Also girls that come from pageant coaching academies do really well and get selected a lot coz they know what to do during auditions and how to impress the judges. In India, people are more than happy to spend tens of thousands of rupees on coaching academies for examinations and can’t do it for pageants. The reason why the tops of those examinations come from coaching academies is that they were very well prepared. Don’t expect an organization like Miss India to select you just because you are pretty. It takes a lot more of things to get selected.

I totally believe you, I was there in north zone auditions... I saw everything... Pageant coaches misguide you that you could win but you actually can't. Manya Singh who got famous for winning runner up title as an auto driver's daughter was groomed by cocoaberry which charges approx a lakh as fees and she was staying in Mumbai too. From last 5 years the winners are from cocoaberry. You can walk the best but they'll only look at the girls from institutions. These institutions help their students in meeting the miss india team before the auditions. Even nikita tanwani and cocoaberry. Nikita tanwani and lekh uthaia themselves are from cocoaberry. They both were questioning fairness in Miss universe after Nikhil Anand got the franchise but why dont they question it when Anjali Raut comes as a judge who is a pageant coach too. The girl who won from UP was a student at Bennet University which comes under times group. That was the the only reason she won from UP. Her walk had no grace at all. Miss India has lost it's credibility. That's why they're not getting crown back. They can't represent India at miss world stage like this.
Gave auditions from the south just for the experience, just like you i felt bad for others who were crying so bad who had prepared so much and had their heart set out on this. Auditioned for the state of Kerala, they called everyone sharp at 8am and didn't take our turn till 7:00 pm. Throughout the day they only provided WATER. They made all of us wait for so long and barely noticed the walks of people. I went to the second round and the judge despite being fat herself was asking a thin tall girl (who wasnt skinny) if she could reduce more weight if she has to come to Mumbai - which is in 10 days. They asked the skinniest girls for their Instagram handle to check the following - how will that make any difference? I feel very bad for girls who keep their hopes and dreams linked to this audition who barely got looked at and were chucked after being made to wait for 11 hours with no food. They propagate social causes and starved the girls who paid 4k for a chance to be seen. Very sad.
Kind of same thing happend in universe auditions too some of the states winners were all set alrdy. judges didn't even see the walk properly and in universe all kind of girls are allowed from this year be it short, aged etc but they only selected tall skinny girls and till age 26 barely.
Heyy, although I absolutely feel you and see where you are coming from, just from another aspirant, they have been very clear that they want someone who is very thin, or atleast has an athletic build. They absolutely do not promote body positivity although they wont say it to your face. FMI has always had a very particular type about the kind of girls that they want to select and I dont think they will ever be changing that. And as a suggestion to anyone who reads this, do not ever go in for the auditions thinking this is your dream, treat this exactly like a business exchange and then maybe you will start to make some sense out of it! It's important to note that attitude while walking and speaking does not equate to confidence-a common misconception among contestants. Also, Pageant fans and judges can easily identify which contestant shines when three walk together. If you harbored doubts from the beginning, it might indicate a lack of focus or insecurity from your part. The connection with Bennett University as the Location/Hospitality Partner, where the auditions were held, is entirely logical. With years of experience, it is evident that more emphasis is placed on contestants who are well-prepared, often having undergone grooming classes and training. Contesting from multiple cities or states is again a common practice! The show might have a format designed to produce state winners. But before 2017, when there were no state queens, a group of contestants was selected from each city or state, and the top finalists were chosen from among them in Mumbai. And Please note that Ultimately, the goal is to select the best candidates. If there are two strong contestants from one state but only one can advance, it would be unfair to let a weaker contestant from another state proceed. This is why contestants are allowed to audition in multiple states, provided they have the necessary documentation. Also, the cocktail dresses were asked, and when the top 5 were selected from UP. They were given time to go back change - redo hair and makeup, come back again and one of them would eventually be crowned! (I WAS THERE) AND YES IT IS BUSINESS! 12:40 DON'T BE SO NAIVE. OF COURSE, THEY WOULD WANT TO GENERATE GOOD BUSINESS OUT OF THE WINNER. WHY DO YOU THINK THEY HAVE CONTRACT? IT IS A TALENT AGENCY. TBH COME NEXT YEAR BETTER PREPARED.
I am not saying I am the best but the auditions must be fair where everyone atleast gets a chance as they’ve invested their time & money. & They should atleast speak what they stand for simply. 1. You saying come prepared the next time … okay madam noted but How will they Know That I am well prepared this time ? 😒 Do you have an answer to this ? 2. If U are one of the judges, How you are gonna know that Out of three who is the most prepared ? Who has better intellect, Who can stand out ? Beauty There lost significance as everyone was. The introduction round is conducted and recorded, and even if a contestant doesn't win a state title, they may still be noticed by the team for other opportunities, such as Miss Diva or the next edition of Femina Miss India (FMI). For example, Nehal Chudasama was in the top 3 in Gujarat for FMI 2018, but Anushka eventually won the state title. However, Nehal's presence and walk stood out, leading the team to approach her to compete in Miss Diva, where she eventually represented India at Miss Universe 2018. Other examples include: Divita Rai: Top 3 in FMI State 2018/19, didn't win the state title but returned for Miss Diva 2021 and ultimately became Miss Diva 2022. Beauty pageants should be banned ..they are putting women in a box.( look a certain way, dress a certain way, weigh a certain way) why cant women jus be themselves and represent their state or country..what is the need of this grooming industry that takes lakhs of money from girls jus to teach her how to fit in a box by walkin or lookin a certain way?? You are absolutely right. I have also experienced the same. I had my best ramp walk but they didn't select me in second round. There is surely something going on. They pre-selected girls. Because they provided batches name wise. They also prefered girls, who were famous in insta.
Gosh help the women who did so much hard work for this Femina miss india is losing all its credibility and now GSI took up the game form india see the contestants for MU in recent wildcards and chhavi verg from USA GSI is taking up slowly
and yes may be the one who is thin tall talented was rejected just becuz may they get the one who they want right ! 60years to this 10years of natasha with 10yrs placement one crown they have better experience ! Lol thats call marketing they did not put up anything coz they will generate income from the forms that are filled up for audition simple. Imagin jst say 500 people for audition and charge lets reduce to 3k so 3kx500=1,500,000/- so in jst one state alone they will heavily generate income imagine the combine income from all states. Simple 😊 to be honest ur beautiful but ur feature not for beauty peagent. Beauty pageant are for plastic 😊 so jst do whats good for you or say what ur better at😊 but to be honest i am glad u know who you are and knows urself better keep growing 😊
sorry to say but they announce that they will crown Miss Uttarpradeh one day before auditioned & the girls are more but time is less so may be they use three girls walk at a time just for you last year FMI finale you can see three three girls walked together in finale evening gown where they select final finalists & yes miss universe has approved Every corner women but not miss world so they must go according to their category !! & my love this year state winners not all but some are trying from last 5years & they made it now !! not winning any miss world crown becuz they choose sini manasa over others i mean like serious would we ever get strong contestants like divita shweta adline harnaaz they also came up in between all others after trying for one two three four years and talking about glammand what they given till date just one placement that also from ex times contestant who was trained far better 2020 by times team !!
I am sure you are nobody to judge without knowing me or the one who won. & I don't say that I was the best, I said that They were Biased, not only me but to 100s of girls out there. There were so many beautiful faces with beautiful bodies, so for anyone its hard to judge... also without knowing them. I saw many of them. Some were being given 3-4 chances to walk some ony had 1, some were being favored all the time outside the audition room, being pampered being taken care of some didnt even got captured. I don't say that dont be unbiased, but just tell if u are there are people who made this dream their life. Thats all
