Most people r broke because they bought a house which they can't afford. Buy when you can put atleast 25-30% down. And on top of that increase monthly payment by 50%. This mean even if you qualify for 5 bedroom house, buy only 3 bedroom townhome. Pay it fast , build equity then buy bigger, keeping same mindset.

madam reality yeh hae canada ke whether ur young or old doesn't matter unless u work u can't survive in canada or else go back to India even if ur PR u can't survive in Canada due to costly living in canada.

ਮੈ PR ਆਇਆ ਸੀ Nov. 2023 ਚ, wife PR ਸੀ। 7 ਮਹੀਨੇ ਮੈਂ ਵੇਹਲਾ ਬੈਠਾ, ਕਈ ਪਾਸੇ apply ਕੀਤਾ ਨਾਲੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ skill ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ last month ਤੋ ਮੈ call ਸੈਂਟਰ ਤੇ ਜੌਬ ਕਰਦਾ ਪਿਆ। 1800$ ਤੇ ਮਿਸੀਸਾਗਾ ਚ। ਬੱਸ ਖਰਚਾ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ। ਇਥੇ ਆਏ ਸੀ ਚੰਗੇ lifestyle ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਵਾਪਿਸ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਸੋਚ ਰਹੇ , ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਕੋਠੀ ਹੈ, ਇਥੇ 2200$ rent ਤੇ ਆ। ਬੜਾ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਸੀ ਕੇ ਇਥੇ skill ਲੈਕੇ ਆਓ, ਮੈ ਇੰਡੀਆ chef ਸੀ ਪਰ ਇਥੇ ਤਾਂ ਕੰਮ ਦਾ ਬੂਰਾ ਹਾਲ ਆ bro। Owner salary ਜਿਆਦਾ ਦੇਕੇ ਚੈੱਕ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਚ, ਕੀ ਕਰੀਏ? ਮੈਂ ਓਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਜੋਂ ਇਕ positive mindset ਨਾਲ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇਥੇ ਮਹਿੰਗਾਈ ਨੇ ਹੱਦ ਟੱਪੀ ਪਈ ਐ। Family ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਖੱਪਖਾਨੇ ਦੇਖਣੇ ਪੈਂਦੇ malls ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ। ਬੁਰਾ ਨਾ ਮਾਨਿਓ ਦੋਸਤੋ ਮੈ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਦਿੱਲ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਪਿਸ ਹੀ ਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਆ, ਆਪਣੇ ਹੁਲੜਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਅਪਣੇ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥੀਂ ਖਰਾਬ ਕੀਤੇ ਨੇ... ਸਟੂਡੈਂਟਸ ਨਾ ਆਓ ਪਲੀਜ਼, ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ country ਚਲੇ ਜਾਓ ਭਰਾਵੋ। ਇਥੇ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਟਾਈਮ , ਪੈਸਾ ਤੇ ਦਿਮਾਗ ਸੱਭ ਖ਼ਰਾਬ ਹੋਣਾ ਆ, ਬੰਦਾ ਮੇਹਨਤ ਵੀ ਤਾਂ ਕਰੂਗਾ ਨਾ ਜੇਕਰ ਚੰਗਾ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ। ਇਥੇ ਤਾਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਚੋਂ ਹੰਝੂ ਆ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਜਦੋ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਇਦੀ, ਅਚਾਰ ਖਰੀਦਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਵੀ ਸੋਚਣਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ....ਬਦਤਰ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਨੇ, ਜੋਂ ਘਰੋ ਸੌਖੇ ਸੀ ਜੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਘਰੋ ਬਾਹਰ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਪੜੇ ਨੇ, ਓਹਨਾ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵੀ ਸੌਖਾਲੇ ਨੇ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਖਰਾਬ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ , ਚਾਹੇ ਓਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ permit ਤੇ ਆਏ। ਹੁਣ ਮਿਹਨਤੀ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਪੀਸੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ। ਮੈ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਵੀ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਭਰਾ ਤੋ ਮੰਗਵਾਏ ਨੇ.... ਜੋਹ ਅੱਜ ਆਪਣੇ Visa ਦੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਨਾ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ India, ਜ਼ਰਾ ਸੋਚੋ ਇੱਥੇ 4, 5 ਸਾਲ਼ ਬਾਅਦ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ PR ਨਾ ਮਿਲੀ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਹਾਲ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਦਿਮਾਗ ਦਾ, depression ਇਥੇ ਫ੍ਰੀ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈ ਆਪ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਡਿਪਰੈੱਸ਼ਨ ਚ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਹੁਣ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਵਰਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੀ...ਗੋਰੇ ਵੀ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ..🙏ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦੇਣਾ ਮੈ ਤਾਂ ਆਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ, ਜਦੋਂ ਫੱਸ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਤਾਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਬੰਦ ਕਮਰੇ ਚ ਅੰਧਕਾਰ ਤੋ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਕੁੱਛ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਮੈ ਜਲਦੀ ਆ ਕੇ ਇੰਟਰਵਿਊ ਚ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਹਲਾਤ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਦੋਸਤੋ...ਰੱਬ ਰਾਖਾ 🙏

I believe that, apart from the IT industry, new immigrants in most other professions need to start from scratch here. However, this information is not hidden; it's available on the internet. Despite all this information, if people are not mentally prepared, then I guess it's their fault. I came here as a student with 2 years of experience in the IT industry from India, but I was mentally prepared during my course period. I was lucky that when I graduated, I received multiple job offers.

70-90hr on weekly basis u have earn at more than 25 CAD per hour basis to only go back to home for sleeping only rest of time on job work as much as possible and save maximum to send back to India maximum amount.

The only people successful in Canada are truck drivers, H1Bs whose visas have expired, people working in building & trading of real estate and top level government officials. Don't come here if you earn less than $120k+ CAD. To become a certified doctor you need $8k-$20k CAD and 16-24 months + cost of living. Teacher = 2 years Lawyer = 1 year
