Last year K J Somaiya CAT cutoff was 82 percentile and NMAT cutoff score was around 220 .So, it will difficult for you to receive a call from these institutes.However, that doesn't diminish your chances to pursue MBA from a good institution.

You can give CAT exam along with it you can also give other MBA exams like MAT, XAT and SNAP etc .To get the interview calls from IIM's you need to score above 96 percentile in CAT.

Bhai one of my friend has profile much lesser than you and we are final year students , He got 94.2 percentile (OBC-Ncl) Till now only IIM-K has sent letters and he has received that call, also he got Ph.D call from IIM-B , rest have not released letters yet

its not MEDIAN* its MEAN* salary that is a good parameter. average and median are the same but MEAN means half quantity upper side and half lower side Sorry for my mistake, it's median that is the right parameter for placements

I think you got a bit confused, Mean is the number found on adding alll the numbers and dividing them by the count of the values. and Median is the middlemost number so Median is a better indicator of the salary.

However if you have limitation in terms of moving cities- yes Pune is a good option.
