In UK it's a common program. But it's a promising career around the globe. Country & University selection is the first major task. The second 50% task is the preparations by the student during & after the course.

Overall ranking of the university is excellent. Research on the subject wise ranking, alumni & facilities in the chosen department. But my point is - A data scientist is able to find jobs in almost every segment. On the other side, the options for a health data scientist is very limited. A normal data scientist can work in the health segment too, but a health data scientist couldn't enter any other segment. After all, just research & convince yourself in indeed & LinkedIn the number of openings for this role at this moment. Curious to know your reason to choose this program !

Congratulations for the successful UK visa👏👏👏 Although Portsmouth is a mid-ranked university overall, their country wise ranked has grown consistently in the last 3 years. I think their Business School is AACSB accredited* with reasonably good facilities. But you have to think & grow at a different level to prepare for landing in a high paying job/career. All the best for the mission🙌✌

Ranking is one of the important parameters. Alumni network, research facilities, quality of professors, industry tie-ups, other partner universities etc. are some of the other parameters.
