hi you have huge time to do gate its best time to start gate prep during your semister 1 be familiar with gate syllabus 2 start to learn basic concept of your semister subject 3 focus on gate oriented topic and complete a subject which you like 4 try to solve gate PYQ after solving and again you can repat same for the next subject
