if possible keep the inverter battery in open area, rather than loft. balcony or place where air circulation is good. you get cabinets to keep them. 1. you will have to put distilled water every 6months after 3yrs every 3months. 2. if the battery leaks, it would tough to clean. 3. replacement of battery and maintenance of the inverter would be easy.
Ji u r right. I have experienced the worst customer experience with luminous. For me luminous battery was faulty during buying itself and it took nearly 9 month to provide replacement, also this replacement was not provided by luminous, only local dealer gave another battery. Enni luminous yennale I don't want to by any products. End of day my requirement failed entirely.
Buy it from local dealer, you'll support local business and manufacturer will support through local dealer. Most of the Online purchase will not have warranty and support from manufacturer.

Inverter you can buy online if you get it for cheaper price but it's better to buy Batteries from local dealers or resellers. They will help you with installation and claiming warranty in case of issues. Usually batteries are cheaper offline than online. I bought luminous Inverter online and it had issues. I made a complaint online and luminous sent a person to my location the same day. In my experiences luminous customer support is not bad.
Kadaiyila 7800 rupees. (Luminous approved shop). Online la 6500 on April ( not sure about today's rate). Zelio +1100 . Ithukuthaan online la vangurathu. Also battery is 1500 rupees less in online.

Better go for Solar panel that can act as an inverter, in case the power goes off, use the solar panel energy to power your essential home appliances like tubelight, fan , tv, bulbs etc., Only the initial investment is expensive, but it's very cheaper and reliable in the long term!!! I bought Luminous Battery + inverter from Amazon last month, but I got the prompt service. The product got delivered on Friday and on Saturday the technician from luminous called me for installation and he came right way . Its weird what has changed with in a month

Recently i bought v guard battery and inverter and they provided a free installation within 48 hrs and they also told most of time they go within 48 hrs sometime it will get some delay. Luminous also good but v guard customer service and product both are awesome ✨
Bro, don’t install the batteries inside the home and don’t store it in a closed cabin. Battery produces fumes which are risky. Keep it in a ventilated space or fix a cpu fan as exhaust
Inverter should not be kept in top esspecialy battery it should be kept in open space which can be inspected day to day whenever the water reduces ot should be replaced with distilled water. Change it to open space in floor
U should have directly bought from shop instead of online. Free installation on same day. And any problem they will ask us to raise complaint request and fix mostly on same day. Best customer service

Dude toxic gas dissipates from battery which is very very hazardous. Sometimes acid fumes might dissipate too. Never keep the ups set up in a closed area. I was a battery manufacturer before 5 years. Also if u keep the battery in loft it will be very hard to maintain the battery and notice the water level in the battery.
