Maybe try to use the ultraboost feature because that made mine go to full flatiron look! It made a huge difference for me. I have ethnic 3b hair (18-20 inches long) and took me 45 minutes my first time from right out of the shower!
If you would have done it correctly like the instructions stated you would have had better results. Supposed to hit the roots first. And if you had taken smaller sections it would have actually gone faster. 😅
It looks good but you need to go over it with the dry setting with a boost. I would prefer that you do bigger parts to save time and use olaplex for a sleeker look. You cant just use it once and be done. You have to practice. Theres so many settings that you need to try and see which ones work best for your hair. You can get your hair straighter than that. I recommend using only redken acidic bonding shampoo with olaplex.

This will still take me FOREVER. My hair is so thick and is halfway down my back lol I tried the hair “vacuum” one (I can’t remember what it’s called i don’t own one, I used my friends once) and it may not be as aesthetically pleasing looking and it’s bulkier but I could def use it with larger sections to stretch and dry my hair.
Love that you’re back! For me, I don’t think it’d be worth it for me as it seems like it’s essentially a blow dryer and so I’d still have to straighten my 4C Afro with my straighteners 😅
1x a week upload on RU-vid would be a good start for you Iris! Just to get yourself back into the groove. And then make it 2x a week if you can manage it, bc who can get tired of seeing your beautiful face??? Not me! 💖
You’re correct, in order to use this tool, one must have a lot of patience, which i don’t have😂 I find that i enjoy it better in dry hair. I use my airwrap or supersonic dyson, then use this afterwards and i get a very smooth ling lasting look.
No. At least not for my daughter and I. I took it back because it took same amount of time and still needed to flat iron. Also roots didn’t really get straight
