Yeah I agree with Logic when he says that is what is wrong with the people today. That man who called the guest a pig obviously was speaking from emotion. I hate to call on a cliche but I put $$ on the fact he was raised by his mom or some other female. How can you name call when another man approaches you with respect.
this is what happens when you have an uneducated person who doesn't know how to have a civil discourse or how to have a debate. It's sad and unbecoming, a disgrace of the black community.
@@SINQUEFIELD83 I can prove he is self hating. The issue is what have you done as a black man to leadthe youth better than you was lead. Talking about crimes that white people also commit and honestly at a higher rate is a sign of a self hater. For example. White men rape at 5 times higher rate then black men do but don’t go to prison for it. Same goes for drug offenses & white people do most of the drugs in this country. They also bring in most of the drugs that are in this country. Research why NY stopped stop & frisk. Self hating to make white people smile is sad. Be a man & mentor the youth. Be a leader.
Why Rilla trying to restore order? Let Logic cook this dude! Served Overseas and state side during Iraq War, Persian Gulf, and Bosnia. Whole lot of men either scared or wont attempt to protect this country but always got an opinion!!
I see the military coming out of Logic. Men that actually stand up to do the dangerous jobs that others won't do but yet have the nerve to talk shit gets dealt with accordingly. From one retired vet to another, Logic I salute you
Bro i was in the Marines. Have multiple friends from the military who're now cops. Now i don't typically care for cops STILL but I don't go around calling them pigs. Now this premise that people "get dealt" with for talking like Jay, stop it no they don't. Especially not on RU-vid. Most people in this space talk reckless and bold behind monitors.
@Mr T You mean the same goddess that is disrespectful to other guests on the show and insults other guests and never has anything positive or intelligent to say in a convo other than being passive aggressive?
If a person shows up to a panel, respects everyone in it, let’s everyone finish their points, and articulated his in a manner that makes you think about the topic, why should they be subjected to blatant disrespect for choosing to try to be a change in their community? That’s ridiculous. It’s shit like that that makes people stop caring.
That’s what chaotic was talkin bout. Even tho chaotic got triggered at some point of the show, black spaces don’t respect someone when they don’t agree with them. It’s like talkin to feminist in a way.
What bothers me is that this isn’t some cop blindly defending cops. He’s a cop admitting the many wrongs with policing and actually trying to find a root for them as well as long term solutions. Cops who have grappling skills won’t be as inclined to shoot. Cops with more social training, won’t ego trip as hard. Cops with 3 years to learn the law won’t make as many mistakes enforcing it. The things he’s talking about actually help the very thing we say needs help directly and his reward for putting so much time and thought into a mutually beneficial solution? Being called an animal and insulted for doing a job too many fake alphas are too scared to do. This world is too damn backwards man…
And if I may..... PLEASE allow me to add this... If folks would stop resisting arrest and fighting cops WAY LESS PEOPLE WOULD DIE!!! IF YOU START FIGHTING A COP AND HE GETS SCARED HE MAY GET AN ITCHY TRIGGER FINGER. STOP FIGHTING THE COPS FOR NO REASON YOU IDIOTS. If you think a cop is wrong and how he's handling something, you get the badge number and deal with it later. You know, like 99% of white people do....
There is nothing wrong with our current law enforcement or their training. Until we change our own behavior nothing can prepare them for the black community. We murdered more people than any group in America and we only make up 12.5% of the population. It’s not them it’s us.
Actually he is blindly following the cops, all the statistics he cited weren't accurate at all! Police solve 19 percent of property crimes 45 percent of violent crimes! As of this year Nationwide Police solve 4 percent of crimes I REPEAT POLICE SOLVED 4 PERCENT OF CRIMES.....THATS HORRIBLE!!!!!!PATHETIC, THAT A F RATING BY AND BETTER BUSINESS BUREA STANDARD FOR ANY OTHER COMPANY EXCEPT THE POLICE! So how the heck can he say black people commit 50 percent of violent crimes, when only 4 percent of crimes are solved Nationwide? And only 60 percent of crimes are reported? He also said the police force existed before the slave patro🤦🏾♂️l which is more Misinformation! The slave patrol started in the Carolinas in 1705, the first police force started in Boston 1838! Over a 100 years difference! Also the US census forces black north African, black middle eastern, and black latino to identify as white in the US census when they migrate here. This is why we think we are only 13 percent of the population, when we make up much more than that! Since the 50s whyte people have been dying off faster than they reproduce, why sperm bank where created, yet we still cite this 60 percent of the population bs, some of that 60 percent is people of color! These facts dispute everything Nathan said tonight! everything i cited is just a simple Google search away to confirm! Nathan unfortunately is a 🐷 covering up for his gang the police, the biggest gang in America besides the military! Police are terrible at their jobs and need to be replaced with another agency, they can't even solve 50 percent of crimes, they're useless!
Exactly. The black judges, cops and politicians are much more brutal than their counterparts. Theirs even data on black coos in Baltimore, Maryland using more deadly force than white cop's.
I'll tell you what's sad and hilarious at the same time. Just look at some of the absolute worst cities in America.... AND MOST OF THOSE CITIES THERE ARE BLACK COPS. BLACK MAYORS, BLACK PROSECUTORS, BLACK PRISON WARDENS AND BLACK CITY COUNCIL PEOPLE!!! So someone please explain to me how all the problems and those types of cities are the white man's fault? Or white cops fault or whatever...
This is the real side of the streets! Classic issue Chaotic and Logic pointed out and that’s why we gotta be careful defending toxic black culture as something to uphold.
@@TA-ht4jo I can relate to a lot of what he says but, he just doesn’t speak enough. His knowledge of the city, county and state is very beneficial to young and old people. I wish that he could get more people to understand the importance of getting involved in our communities. I’ve heard him speak briefly about that.
Rilla, I understand u sir but let's sit back, Logic handled it beautifully well 👏👏👏👏💯👏👍 I don't know why we as blacks decide to act all barbaric anytime we disagree with people 🤷♂️ we can have conversations like adults even if we all have different opinions or beliefs. It's so disrespectful the chats were calling someone a pig and then he endorses it, when he should be setting up a better example for we listeners🤦🏽♂️ That officer was saying nothing but facts, exactly what Chaotic mentioned earlier on which I also commented about in earlier videos. The statistics and sources are all out there. All we have to do is Google it: CDC, FBI's latest report-2019 crime rates based on race, and also Wikipedia. I had no idea about the US police history, since I'm a Nigerian living in Canada but I researched it and it turns out what he's saying is very true. We always like to be all up in our emotions, rather than admit we have a societal problem as a race, complaining rather than admitting reality in order to move ahead. This same mindset is also some of us Africans also do as well 🤦🏽♂️ This shows u how terrible we blacks really are as listeners, because the police officer actually warned against what just happened in the beginning of his speech pleading with everyone to be logical and not emotional as this is often a heated subject to discuss.
That shit went off the rails quick! To the Brother who's a Cop, SALUTE! You are willing to admit the improprieties of how Policing works and you broke down the factual origin. Logic has to do a better job of not flying off the handle when people say stuff. I served 22 years in the Army and slept on the ground in Bosnia after it was bombed out. Going off doesn't get any points settled and it only creates more chaos. This format has no structure as respect is fleeting at best, especially when good points are being made.
Blue line of silence is a term used to denote the informal code of silence among police officers not to report on a colleague's errors, misconducts, or crimes, including police brutality.
Logic a real one and gained all of my respect. From one vet to another. As far as JP and the rest of the fools that lacked brain cells in the chat with the emojis, I'm embarrassed for you guys to even think that way about people WILLING to protect you guys for any reason. I'll pray for y'all.
Daley actually gave out accurate stats and info and because it didn't fit some narrative that some people love to hold on to he gets called a PIG.... smh. This is a perfect example of what is wrong with our people and things won't change. I don't blame Logic for going off on that dude, every group of people needs to separate the idiots from the group if they are unwilling to listen, or learn.
I’ve seen that dude on other black podcasts. He’s a loose cannon. His facts are all over the place. His whole point of view is from a ghetto mentality…
At least he is doing something you soft azz criminal purse snatcher drive-by no aiming killing babies trying hit a standing target having a55 and still miss, people like ya'll are the reason the communitah is the way it is.
Emotional creatures..... smh,.... people dying everyday, it's about what you're dying for and if it really helps or uplifts your people... cops and wars??? Ion know fam, but to each it's own
Thus is just entertainment at this point. To much arguing, taking shots, being disrespectful and etc. I listen more for the drama than anything they really be talking about
Any blk cop who is not fighting against the establishment that they are a part of, knowing the high levels of racism and profiling is not a part of the movement to liberate our people. If you are siding with our oppressors and standing with that blue wall of silence in opposition of our people, how should we look at you. And don't say you're just following orders
As much disdain I have for the police I will say it was definitely disgusting to see people disrespect that man the way he did …. Simply because he acknowledged plenty problems within his Career choice and if you watched he brought about possible solutions. He pointed out in many ways how crooked cops end up hired and how bad the selection process is. Even the people who debated or argued with him on the panel , did so just to argue and wasn’t even looking to hear his possible solutions and work he could do on the inside
@@freeindeed8416 That's a great question. I'm black and my entire family is in law enforcement of some kind and it is sad, that our community are so against law enforcement, when we are the ones that keep the order.
Before he joined the department he knew that was slang for them and he accepted the money…u have to accept the benefits of the job as well as the cons…not being like In society for what the police in gangs represent
@@justinfrazier9364 I think some just say stuff like that because they think it’s cool. It’s Um fathomable to me to have disdain for police but have love for the people destroying our neighborhoods
Logic shouldn't call Jay any names, just because he said that's what he is. We all know what people call officers, that is not a surprise 🙄 just have the logical conversation. As grown men I hope they don't take those things personally
@@Squeeky-Da-Don I agree but that just proves my point that she does nothing positive for the show. This was a very serious and important topic and she was nowhere to be found.
As a Black man that made me just as conflicted as anyone would expect. Then I realized that some people don't see both sides of the situations, and they might not ever for one reason or many others. Sorry to the community we had to have that moment. It took me many tries to even say this much. I still laugh sarcastically at some people saying racist systems and contradictions in outcomes (that rarely benefit Black people) don't exist today/anymore. How long do our Black comedians (the Gregory's and Pryor's of Truth) need to continue making jokes to enlighten everyone for it to be true? smh.
Logic goes from zero to one hundred in 10 sec. Yelling and screaming like those whom he has a disagreement with, its like basic bootcamp. Again, when I watch this platform it starts off civil and then the true colors come thru with everyone. This is why we never get anywhere as a people because if one disagrees it becomes a big blow out. I don't agree with hardly anyone on the panel because if you don't agree with them then Logic breaks loose.
I worked for the department of corrections for 13 years before I left and got my CDL. What he said is absolutely true we reward bad behavior. People such as drug dealer and murders get glorified in our community. I don’t know why these people are given the respect their given . They have ruined the community by selling drugs to their own, killing each other for absolutely no reason and committing all other types of crime. These men are seen in our community as “real niggas”. People actually send them money in jail, will visit them in jail and support these people. But they don’t see the end result of this behavior which is a lifetime in prison or death. So I tell people don’t complain about things you endorse.
His first point is so wrong lol!!! Police came over 130yrs after slave patrol! Boston being the first in 1838!! However slave patrols go back as far as 1704, even with slave patrol badges! Also many left slave patrols and joined police forces in NY, Boston, Chicago, New Orleans etc
Exactly, The first police department was in 1838 and when he was talking about "it was already policing in the north" It was actually more like security/night watch. I guess one could infer that night watch was the "police" but that night watch didn't reflect the department that was started in 1838 and surely doesn't represent how policing is done today.
I'm Not One That's Really Likes Cops(They Have To Show That Respect)😬! But Nathan Seems To Be Reasonable, Logical And With The Cause 🤌🏾🙌🏾👍🏾! Can Not Argue With That🙌🏾💯💯💯! J Prince Was TripN🤔💯💯💯! Logic and Nathan Where On Point👍🏾🤌🏾🙌🏾💯💯💯!!!
There is nothing more dangerous than a loud ignorant person with a platform. Use to rock with Six but after this her display and the videos she made after feeding people with misinformation and hatred, I can't rock with such ignorance.
Started out bit ok but look where this go THIS IS US SMFH who’s the moderator cannot have a sensible logical ☮️ conversation before everyone in their feelings 😤
And all this is to sayyyyyyy.... the funny thing is most ppl who usually aren't in or work in the demographics they talk. So if we are asking what happens to them shouldn't we ask them
It’s a mixed bag where policing started but the First actual police department was in Boston in 1838. But the slave patrols were before that in 1704. There were night watchmen before that but they were volunteers and weren’t organized. So the slave catcher theory still holds on. Nathan isn’t 100% right with his statement.
@@justinfrazier9364 Well from my understanding the original commenter is kinda right. The part that is missing is the there is not correlation between violence and poverty. The correlation is between violence and proximity difference between socioeconomic classes. So yes when black people were dirt poor in the past we mostly interacted with people with the same socioeconomic status. The difference today is that the poverty is on the inner-cities and these big cities tend to have a diversity of several different socioeconomic individuals interacting with one another which causes the violent behavior potentially
