I am not surprised that a Thai Lady is in the World Championship! I used to live in Thailand and Snooker was huge there! One time when I was traveling on a train in Bangkok, we passed a row of shacks that were built fairly close to the train rails. In one of those "shacks" was a well lit room with a 6' x12' pool table! I was 'shocked"! The living conditions there along the tracks were pretty poor, but Snooker is so huge there a pool table was considered almost a necessity! Where I was living, there was a Pool Hall, lotsa tables, practically full all the time!
I don't understand why they can't play 3 full frames of Snooker. Who made the decision to make the 3rd frame a respotted black? Don't have the time for 3 frames? Asinine.
@@McLKeith - I disagree, stress is very tiring. However, I agree that three frames is insufficient. The players don’t get a chance to develop a rhythm and strategy.

What is the argument for not letting the women play with the men? Surely the women would become better players if just as good as the guys if they played in a mixed league.
They do play against the men. To play on the WST though, every player must have the tour card. To acquire and maintain the tour card a player must be top 64 in the world. There’s a bit of footage on YT of Reanne playing different men, including Sean Murphy at the world championships.
Just watched the second half of this vid....The "best out of THREE" is supposed to be just that! First off...playing for the match with only a Black spot, Why did they play the first two games? It SUCKS! Second...to LOSE the match because of a Fluke because it was a one ball tie breaker makes it even worse!
Playing a decider is part of the excitement of Snooker. To play a decider on a spotted black seems ridiculous. There isn't much excitement generated by playing a decider on a spotted black alone.My persuasion

Nutcharut uses a lot of strength in the strokes. You need to play more gently, not just hitting the ball, but pushing it. He lost good moves due to excess strength.
Rokit have done a great job on putting these together. What about tieing it in with the world amateur championship or anything just below the very top level
I find your comment insulting, highly offensive. Reanne Evans is one of the top snooker players in the world, men and women , so are many other women, so why would you think they should play against amateurs, or below the top level? Disgusting attitude, and before you think it, no, I'm not a woman.

she likes it and obviously works well for her, maybe her being a bit small it helps to generate more power, My cue is O'min made in Thailand, she would have tried many cues no doubt

How can you have a match to decide if you advance to the finals that is only best of 3? Everything I have seen is closer to 11 games. Is this best of 3 normal?
These rules regarding the 3rd frame that was never played are an absolute joke. Is this rule only for the women's matches or for everyone? The match finished 1-1. There was no 3rd frame
If you listen carefully. The commentator says added drama were getting a re spotted black DECIDER, 1-1 so there is not a 3rd game its just a black. Why it wasn't filmed I have no idea. He said there will not be a third frame. Oh it is filmed I will watch it now haha.
There is ZERO reason to have a 'women's snooker league'. This is not a sport about gender. This is about Snooker. I am a male snooker player and and believe woman and men should play at all the same tourneys and gender should be left out of it. A century break is possible by anyone that has the skills and dedication regardless of gender. Reanne gets it, she will show you all.
I think we all need to pay more attention to the women's game. Just like football and rugby, they can put on a show as good as any of the men in the fields but don't get the remuneration or recognition to incentivise them to play professionally.
Question what is the women's games not well advertised as that is a real problem. I used to go to a club practice with a lady who was one of the best. But she had to play very unknown places with less people watching. I think now these days female darts and snooker should be mixed with the men. For big money tournaments.
There is no such thing as a "mens" snooker tour. It just happens that at the moment no female could play on the standard of the professional tour. Everyone is allowed, but actually have to qualify and win something to progress to the next stage. And even Reanne(with all her ladies titles) couldnt get into the tour in all the years trying.
Evans is lucky in that she gets more than her share of invitational events because she is female, not because she has earned her opportunities on merit, it could Barry Earns brainchild of getting females involved in the game on a playing level and spectating level which although seems outwardly a good idea etc is actually an irony in the real world of snooker, there's literally hundreds of better players than Evans in the U.K who because they're male aren't entitled to the same favouritism as Evans is and will never get the opportunites. Alison Fisher was the best female snooker player ever, ask anybody who knows about the game and they will tell you the same and to her credit she never took the 'easy road'.
Reanne Evan's is the best female snooker player on earth. But still not good enough to qualify because she doesnt win against male players that are down in the ranking. She tried already to qualify but all men players did beat her.
Playing a better player is always the way to improve your own game so for a lot of women the only way to improve is to play men and playing in a tv match would build confidence
Around 7 mins, she jumped over her red but i think the Ref was asleep and didnt call it as it maybe not sure if it went over the red or just to side which is still a foul as it passes over the middle part or if it hits and finishes on far side. You can strike the ball on THEN jump over as many balls as you want , just not the ball you are legally hitting in first instance.. So you can strike black then send ball up into pack of reds to split it and thats totally ok as long as while doesant pass over black doing it
TO the AD Makers for "Out systems" --> @ 49:22 minute mark in this video, your AD blocks a crucial action shot, depriving all future viewers of the finer aspect of that shot. May we call this a "betraying of trust, put in you by those who were making this video? They must have paid you your dues; then why such careless placement of your AD? I think you're confused about the re-spotted black after the 2nd frame. The match was best of 3...but for what I'm guessing were reasons time constraints, the deciding frame was actually only a re-spotted black. In other words you are right, Mink did win the 2nd frame by 1 point, then the 3rd frame was decided by the re-spotted black.
Definitely NOT a fan of the re-spotted black in a decider. What's wrong with a proper best of three games? It's not like they rent the hall by the minute and they're dead short of cash. Stupid decision, IMO.
@@theterriblediscount9650 That is exactly how it is. They actually said it several times: if the score is leveled 1-1 then the match will be decided on a re-spotted black. So basically 3rd frame is one ball.
