Lewis' character is one that we don't often see. Usually it's the woman that wants the marriage to work & is running behind the cheating husband. It's actually refreshing to see a man who is trying to save his family. I don't think it makes him weak at all. He's in love with his wife.

This episode was so good! I think that D A is about to kill her abusive ex and she's going to need Jax and Cory to defend her

Omg exactly!!! I don’t feel bad for Jax at all. She was purposely freaking that man on camera for Lewis to see. She was flaunting the other man in Lewis face. Her wrong got her kidnapped, almost murdered, and children in danger, and his wrong may get him a baby! They even to me!

Well, once you decide to forgive a spouse and move on to mend relations you’re not supposed to keep throwing past events in their face. Jax did whatever before the reconciliation and was able to move on without any residuals, but Lewis outside 👶🏻 will be some messy residuals like a muh! Add to that everyone knows Toni 😫

The way they wrote Lewis is similar to How Pvalley randomly made Andre’s wife cheat on him so that it was make his eventual hook up with Hailey smh

Lewis and Jax just need to be friends. I think it will be better for both of them to just be really good co-parents. The kids aren't little. There is too much drama in their relationship. And forreal, I did not like Jax last season and thought she played too many games with Lewis. I guess we'll see in ep.7 how this conversation goes down.

The way Corey's dad described his wife sounded so transactional. I think Corey would actually try to be good to his wife if he chose to marry. I think he might be in love with that former client of his who's in jail for killing her DV ex.

The only thing Lewis wrong for is not telling Jax when she mentioned that baby. He begged her to come home and she wouldn’t. Jax just looking for an excuse to sleep with Cory anyway😂😂😂 That daddy was a mess…smh

I think writers are in on the joke. When it comes to Jax Momma, JT Momma, & Corey Father.. They write them stupid nonsensical shihh in profound manners & the Actors understand the assignment. For the sake of the audience hearing that shihh and being like 'Huh!?.. thats stupid.. thats toxic".. Cuz alot of .. black ppl specifically.. Out parents be saying all types of nonsensical backwards shihh in profound manners. And alot of us eat it up cuz of their titles/roles to us.. But then we hear it in these capacities and can clearly discern that its BS 😂😂😂😂

Jax is flawed but I think she was trying to work things out with Lewis. Lewis had the opportunity to be honest and didn’t. No matter how things go with Toni, Jax isn’t going to forgive him well at least not right now.

Lewis is weak, he is the type of man who wants to be with a woman who needs him and not wants him. He is the type that wants to punish you for having any part of your life that doesn’t include him or he feels eclipses him. I liked Jax better last season bcuz she was fiercely independent and good at what she does. Cheating is wrong no matter who does it and it’s petty to be tit for tat. I don’t like Jax this season bcuz she’s now weak and it’s causing her to give into what Lewis wanted all along. And where he is wrong in the whole cheating thing is he was given the opportunity to come clean about who he cheated with but he lied. And he also only told her to bully her back into sex with him. He is a manipulator in the worst way. I hope the Toni thing finally blows their whole marriage apart bcuz I’m over it!

I agree that convo with Cory and his dad did not hit. At first, I thought it was a dad disappointed in his son for leaving corp to do DV but when he flipped it to find you a wife, I was like huh? So you mean to find one even if she is somebody elses lol

Hey Rox! I totally get what you’re saying about the characters being inconsistent. I love layered characters, but we should at least understand their choices. Like, why would Jax meet that guy alone when she suspects he deleted JT, especially after everything with Michael Ealy? Maybe it's just because it’s early in season 2, but I get your point.

I completely understand what you're saying Rox. The writers are trying to write Jax in a different light but she and Lewis were both wilding out last season....moreso Jax in my opinion. She could have easily gotten pregnant too. But as you mentioned, he should have just been honest so that does make him weak. Sidebar....I like Jax hair much better this way. That blunt bob shake and go afro Jeri curl was not giving

This is my favorite show right now! I think Corey’s case with the other woman in jail is in Chicago and he wanted his dad’s help to get her out of jail. That was my understanding. I totally get why you don’t like Lewis. I actually want Jax and Corey together.

There are alot of psychological elements to the way the characters are written & portrayed.. and uk you dont like to get into thee 'deep' shihh & i think the Capricorn in your lacks Patience for the way the nature of the Show portrays those elements.. Cuz combined with the Law Environment, The characters are traumatized in functioning ways. No character is a 'Perfect Victim'.. its done more to reality. So that could be throwing you off a bit from the 'normal' formula of writing characters.. for almost forever writers of shows would give each character a 'Trope'.. The protagonist whos side youre always on, the Mean girl foil, the good girl &/or polarizing best friend , Thee Villian, The Perfect Man & The Worse Man Ever.. But these writers dont do that in this show . All the characters are very dual and multidimensional. So more so like in real life, errbody cycles through the 'tropes' based on Circumstance and what they need/desire in the moment.

Side note, I don’t have an issue with it or anything but something I noticed on this show. A good handful of couples or ppl being gay. You have this background storyline of Jax son possibly being gay, the friend she was jogging with is married to a woman & we found out this episode her assistant crystal is also married to a woman

Lewis and Jax are twins. Jax can’t be mad. She was messing with other men for the longest and he wasn’t doing anything. When he finally did he got someone pregnant 🤷🏿‍♀️. But I agree Lewis needs more of a back bone.

Rox you're forgetting when Jax was having sex with Will on camera she knew Lewis was watching and when they argued later when he expressed he felt some type of way about it Jax mentioned he never had a brother before. It seems they were hinting that was their thing. Either she was actually with other men in front of him or was pleasuring herself in front of him who knows as they never talked about it again.

Yo, when Lewis confronted Toni and basically told that woman what she was going to do with her body based on the theory that she “could be” pregnant by him….. again, the fact that he said you can get the DNA test while pregnant…. It is not your body and coming up to that woman who is not your woman telling her what she is going to do!!! Naw B, take that foolishness somewhere else. His demands were out of pocket, yes he deserves to know and to get his affairs in order but talking wild to Toni wasn’t the move! Yeah, Lewis gets on my last nerve and I 1/2 way don’t like his ass, so this episode with his demands pissed me all the way off……
