Patriots and Vikings can be optimistic about next year. This year they can be optimistic about securing one of the top spots for next years draft.

My thoughts exactly as a Pats fan. This year is basically tryouts for the new olineman and WRs, development and reps for Drake Maye, and getting another top 3-5 pick to trade back and accumulate more picks or draft a stud LT or WR, whatever position we don't address with all the cap space next year. I'd be ELATED with flashes and or a good game from Maye if he gets to play like the last 4 games, and for 1 of Polk or Baker to catch like 60-70 passes for 800+ yards. That's how far we've sunk lol but I'll start the genuine optimism next year or the year after that

The 1st and 2nd highest paid QBs in the NFL both have 9 inch hands. Burrow and Goff both have 9 inch hands. That’s the cutoff. Any smaller and you are going to have problems. Kenny Pickett has 8.5 inch hands.

Steelers can be optimistic about their O-line, defence and running game, but its unrealistic to be optimitstic about Wilson or Fields after the recent reporting has shown them to be toxic, uncoachable and terrible at processing. The Steelers can be optimistic about trading for Kurt Cousins, and thereby saving their season, because the Falcons want to start Penix and the Falcons will take a 1st and 2nd 2025 picks for Cousins.

I regret to inform you that the Falcons going from Desmond Ridder to Cousins (and got Rondale!), and getting Penix for post-Cousins alone is a 4. If that doesn’t do it, Rah + ZRob make it a 4. If they could’ve gotten Latu or Danielle Hunter for 3/$75M it would probably be a 5. Add Kool-Aid/Lassiter and it’s a slam dunk 5.

Bills... You already for the most part moved on from Diggs, Davis, Von Miller,Tre White, Jordan Poyer, and Micah Hyde last year, some of them even longer ago. And the new look that emerged was pretty damn good. Sports talk folks are way behind your actual situation because they fixate on big recognizable names. Vegas has you as a top #5 SB contender, because they're more up to date with your current baseline.
