That segment wasn't about Soyeon personally trying to imitate the members' voices in her own performance, but about how during recordings, she would want the members to use certain elements of their speaking voice in their singing. So Soyeon would get them to speak first (e.g. say "hello") before asking them to use that specific sound while recording their singing. Hope that was a clearer explanation!

*I understood this:* Soyeon prefers the easier ways, she grabbed what was closest and Yuqi is more complex and likes a challenge, or simply she went for the bottom cause it was furthest so her choice was different/unexpected. This shows she is cunning and willful. Even a tad controlling of the situations that happen around her. So, in other words Siyeon is bottom and Yuqi is top ;) that's my logic and I stand by it
