Such a fun and incredible waterpark!! My family and I went there a month and a half ago on Friday May 31st, 2024. We travelled from Canada🇨🇦 and we’ve been to all the Disney World and Universal theme parks several times in the past when I was much younger, but Volcano Bay is our first visit and we had an amazing time! The wave pool is awesome, there are so many unique water attractions to try out, and the food is delicious especially the coconut chicken curry at Kohola Reef restaurant. If my family wants to plan on another Orlando trip in the future, we would definitely love to come back to Volcano Bay again - it’s so much fun! 🤩❤️🌋💦💦
Absolutely! We had a nice 2 weeks family vacation. First we were on a cruise🛳 to the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, and Grand Turks Islands on the first week from May 19-24. I also celebrated my birthday🎉 on the ship and that was fun! After the cruise, we went to Disney World and of course Volcano Bay and Universal parks on the 2nd week. It was the most memorable and wonderful birthday trip I ever had! 🥳🎂🛳🐭👸🏰🌋💦💦🌎
Not gonna lie if u wanna swim while your getting moved and wanna jump over tubes go to the lazy river but.. if you wanna wear a life jacket but go fast as hel* and get hit by a big wave got to the raptor river
@user-tn7oe8su7p honestly, most of the places have pizza so you can't go wrong with that. Kohola Reef (at the entrance to the right when you walk in) has a good variety but there's 2-3 pizza spots. This shows that restaurant I mentioned. ☺️ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-blPE33AL5Cg.html
How deep is the wave pool? It doesn't look that deep which would be great but I could be wrong lol. I will say....I wish they had the half donut floats that look like a floating chair for the lazy river. I can never get into a donut gracefully and I always feel like I'm going to flip over 😂! I'm nervous but excited!
I'm never good at getting in those floats either 🤣🤣🤣 The wave pool gets deeper the further you go. I couldn't stand up at one point. If you stay in the shallow part, you're fine. Are you making a stop here for sure? 🥰
We just aren't beach people. Something about sharks being in the water makes me nervous. We love volcano bay. 🤷♀️ Lots of slides and things to do. But if you prefer the beach, that is ok too.
Yes! We need to go back to those eventually! I think only 1 waterpark at Disney is open though. I want to go to Aquatica too. We enjoy them all for the most part.
If you go like me in a 1 week vacation to these parks don’t go here believe me it’s just good until you see all the queue lines going onto 300 min just to go onto another line when the times up
It depends when you go. We went in October and May which are slower months. I wouldn't recommend going in the Summer because I've heard it hits capacity. But the two times we've been, everything was ride now or 10 minutes except the aquacoaster.
We tried to visit volcano Bay when we were at Disney world but sadly universal lied to us so it's not all what it's cracked up to be if you really want to do it I suggest you booked it in advance but don't do it through somebody who doesn't know what they're doing about autism people
The tapu tapu bands are definitely a different system. When we went, we only had to wait for the aquacoaster. Everything else was ride now. We thought the food was average for theme parks. I prefer the food there more than some of the surrounding waterparks, but everyone has different opinions/experiences. Sorry you didn't have the best time.
A friend gifted us tickets who work there. I completely understand! We have an annual pass to Universal and Islands but haven't added the waterpark yet. Hopefully eventually.
