I had been out record shopping all day...Went into a record store called Sam Jams....Saw this album right in front of me as I walked in ..They we're playing it... This song was playing..I froze in my track ,I heard .. 'It would be easier to face the morning ....I heard that as I walked in ...I asked is this album here on display what's playing - This is REBA right ? Yep he said..I said where is the album..?. It wont be out for another week this is a promotional copie he said ... I begged the guy to make me a copie (He had a cassete player right there behind the stand ,,,,Long story short .. He made me a copie gave it to me ..I wore it out before the album came out... Love love love this song..and video Been a die hard REBA fan ever since!1

Same here I had a 3 and 5 year old stay at home mom then but now my girls are 28 and 30 left and didn’t look back he married her and was never happy he died of a massive heart attack in 2007 hardest thing to get my girls through but here we are and we’re all leading good lives and are happy despite our past

This song brings back some bittersweet memories. I was dancing to it with my boyfriend at a rodeo after party 20 yearso ago. A few days later, I found out he had a new girlfriend but didn't know how to tell me. Neither did any of our friends, go figure. It crushed me to the core, but knowing him now - I know I didged a bullet.

Her marriage was nearing end of her 10 year marriage during the filming of this video. Her husband at the time was making her life totally miserable. When she filmed this video Reba was going through a lot.
I fell in love with this song and Reba in Oct 1987 in Nashville, listened to this on Nashville network tv, just fabulous! 6 months later , home here in England I was alone “ being the last one to know!” All good now and Reba still my favourite country singer.
This is the Reba I love best. When she changed her style to keep up with the times she lost that punch. But then she got really popular with people that even heard her older good stuff.

I found myself there after 32 years, but as time passes, you realize you saw allot more then you allowed yourself to admit at the time. What was once explainable no longer is and test your love (or so your think), so you push it aside with weak explanations. In the end, you don't love the one that abuses your love, you love who they once were and you wish they still were. But time shows you they no longer are that person, and what was forever is now over. Life can really hurt.
The lyrics, the music, the voice, the production, and the video - all perfectly perfect. I love this song and this album is amazing! I remember installing an expensive stereo in my new 1987 Jeep Comanche pickup and listening to Reba's CDs over and over until the new one came out - then I'd hurry to the record store and listen to the new one over and over again, then wait for the next one just to listen to every song dozens of times. My girls (born in 90 & 92) would only fall asleep on road trips if Reba's music played...most likely because they could hear her CDs when I was pregnant! I am so thankful she was tremendously gracious and gave them hugs when they were around 6 & 4...my redhead and Reba have (had) the same color of auburn hair. :)
