Nice looking cars, I love that you two worked together in this. My favorite is the silver. I think we need more women in this hobby 😊My wife built her own Sand Viper, her favorite part was picking out the paint colors and deciding what stickers to use.

Great job.... I confess I have already seen the Monster Bug (VW Beetle video so I know the answer to her building another) My wife and I used to build RC cars (HPI and Tamiya) with my son (who is all grown up now) We used build the Nitro cars,... a bit different. We raced them quite a lot... I even placed 3rd in the HPI finals! After watching you though I want to start up again!

I hate wind when I have to paint my toys. :)

Verry nice to see the painting in detail. The silver is also extremly difficult to spray and she did a great job with it. How many layers of silver/white/black/smoke was it? I think best is to put on the stickers right after removing the protection film, youll never get the car as clean again. So eaven if you want to see the look, take it off right before putting on stickers and dont touch the car all over before putting on the stickers. Wouldnt it be better to not tint the windshield, now the driver has trouble seeing anything. Also why no rear lights? She was verry fast and precise cutting the lexan... did she cut out bodys before for you off camera?

Prefer the Silver to be fair,but both look good.

You can also use the out side cover to mask the vents in the air dam and other parts. Hemistorm did a porsche.

Are you not supposed to trim the fluid with a hobby knife to get the straight edge?? Also you have to put plenty of it on to make it easier to peel off. Apart from that, great video guys. The cars are lurverly, like twin siblings.

Try scoring the body then snap it Rebecca, way easier than scissors for larger parts of the body. You just use a model blade, I often use an older blade as it tends to score rather than cut. 👍🇦🇺 You can get an e clip tool as well. Best thing since cotton undies! The clip sits in a sprung prong, it has a slight back to it, this holds the e clip in place you just push it in and then slide it over the pin. Saves them from being “Jesus” clips to just e clips, they tend not to fly across the room. It comes with different sizes so it’s pretty universal. I think I picked it up on eBay for a few dollars. Great investment for patience and tanty control. 🤣🤣🤣

Gavin, what sort of scissors did you both use to cut out the body shells? I'm currently making a bit of a horlicks on a Plasma Edge 2 shell and like every bad workman I'm blaming the tools!
