She wasn't matching his string of false assumptions (normally true of other guest) about her. Just spamming false assumptions would put a kink in any conversation.
@@vinjayabdo3809 some people just aren't willing to lie for entertainment. It wasn't a terrible interview. She was engaging and gracious enough. Craig recivered as charmingly as he could. He was just a bit off after failing virtually every cold read he attempted.
He's a bit of a wanker though. First, he's far too old to be flirting with her. Second, if the therapy was working for him, then surely he wouldn't need it? It's one of those things that twelve steppers with too much money do. Thirdly, why would he be suggesting she should get therapy? Who suggests to random people they meet through work that they need therapy? Only wankers. So yes, he's better than the others on modern late night but it's not exactly a high bar, is it?
Completely agree. The morons that have late night shows today are insufferable, every single one of them. Craig was hilarious and did not bring up cheesy politics.
4:20 she does the acknowledgement to her invisible friend, 4:49 she claims to have done it to the audience, but play it back (4:20), she did not, but says it with such confidence, that we believe here ... until the internet.
Quite a coincidence seeing Alice Eve at the end. She was in the first film that Rebecca was in also. "Starter for 10", a British comedy with James McAvoy and Benedict Cumberbatch. All fresh faced and starting out in their careers. It's quite a funny film.🌟
She's a classically trained monstrously great actress. Her dad was the director of the Royal Shakespeare company so she grew up around the cream of British thespian folk. Watch Parades End she runs away with the whole production including Cumberbatch
@@shakirahill885 I just saw something about her mom.. I had no idea how personal her film “Passing” was. I loved Ms. Hall in “Night House” and “ Resurrection”. I love her eclectic choices.
When i saw the invisible friend video on my feed i knew you must have had it uploaded already. Without doubt this woman is my lifetime celebrity crush, besides she introduced me to Craig in this interview, i've watch it tens of times, no kidding.
I don't doubt you tell the truth! Also, You recommended it, that's why I uploaded it, proof: read text lower to the left side of the video at : 0:16 ;)
adorable, cute, classy. Her voice doesn't quite match her look so its weird hearing her talk. Too bad she hasn't done much tv/movie work, she does a lot of theatre/play stuff of course which is why she isn't more widely known.
The Jayleno Fly This should have been the first of multiple visits. I saw this as the "introductory"/"warm up"/"breaking in" visit for the both. I found her a likable, smart interview and great guest.
That's the trouble with women who are good looking AND really smart. They turn the tables on you. 😁 She did it soooo easy, putting Craig in the corner. Wow.
There are a lot of smart people who arent so extroverted like her. She is definitely smart, but she is very comfortable in her skin, has a quick wit, and wasnt easily intimidated by Craig's large personality, and super fluid style. She held her own and then some!
I don't think so, it's like she was bored and living on another planet. Smart people understand it's a comedy show, see where he's coming from, and have fun. She probably didn't want to be there. Or maybe she was nervous.
Rebecca Hall is the center of intention without even trying Take a movie with Scarlet Johansen and Penelope Cruise. Vicki Christina Barcelona They didn’t bring the camera in close or you would have been mesmerized by her eyes
@@stpierreorama Nah! You havent seen the old guys, if you think easily! he was far an away better than most contemporaries, although Conan O brien is top rate! but his schtick is 'goofy (irish) American" Craig is more 'goofy-suave'.
Snyder had 777 episodes, Kilborn just over 1,100, and Craig over 2,000 episodes. Even though his ratings fell toward the end, he was by far the most successful of the Late Night Show hosts. I dare fat boy (879) to go that long. Craig, the master of late night.
Funny, at 1:09 Craig says people assume she’s American, and she goes on to reluctantly say her mother is from Michigan, I say this because of the look on her face as she says it. But, alas girl friend , that makes you half American 😂
She's gonna be in Professor Marston and His Wonder Women soon. It's about William Moulton Marston, a psychiatrist who creates Wonder Woman. He is inspired by his wife and mistress. Ms. Hall will play the wife. Looks interesting.
@@FunnyHaHa420 He had the permanent access to women part down, and a good personality, but lacked permission. All the world's cheaters are building statues to him.

gravity bull I'd like to take the position, along with the above mentioned attributes, she was smart, witty, intelligent and likable. I think Craig has a good sense of self. I'm of the thought that he has no ego issues which, i believe, causes him not to have an issue of being "one upped", particularly when the guest is not doing it at Craig's expense or with some [negative] agenda. I submit to the court(lol), he managed, himself, well under the circumstances because she was Super and he enjoyed it. Have a fine day, gravity bull:).
She also made and directed a movie, Passing, based on a novel by Nella Larsen. Hall was inspired to make the film after learning that her American grandfather was a Black American who "passed" as white during Jim Crow.
Hes not conversing as English people converse. I think its a bit of a power play . trying to tell her who is in control and what is expected of her in an interview with him on his show. she has not been briefed or did not understand the briefing or did not understand how the show works.
you folks are leading with your expectation here. i think the misunderstanding does lie in the fact that she doesn't put off that giggly, overapproving vibe that american actresses are pretty much expected to come with. she's chummy and real and smiles but continues fleshing through the convo and it's refreshing, not awkward.
