I kept on watching this piece so many times. There is so much love and kindness in the song and how Rebecca sang it. You can feel the love and hurt longing and loving a child that is not hers. ❤❤❤ great job. This is the best version of I wont mind.
The technical command behind this seemingly effortless performance is astounding. It must be what allows her to tell the story so compellingly with each expression, as if this gorgeous voice wasn't pouring out perfection all the while. What a stunning talent, and I'm so sorry she's not still with us. But how lucky we are to have performances like this captured forever. Thank you, Rebecca Luker.
This is one of my favourite things to watch on youtube. Beautiful song and one of the most convincing performances I've ever seen - and that by just using facial expressions. Just fantastic! I've been showing this to all of my friends at university :)
Thank I would see it from all sorts of ways especially after having watched The Berlin Dance School in which the real mother has to pretend that her sister is her child’s mother. This song could have been written for that scenario. Anyway it’s a beautiful song. I just happen to adore Victoria Clark but everyone sings it wonderfully. It must make you so proud to her your songs spill out of peoples lungs with feelings.
Yes it does.. because it would give the song such a bitter sweet meaning but I gather she is the child's God mother in the context of the show... but thanks for your comment
