Barely any factories, barely a navy, 5x less population, no foreign involvement, barely supplied, on the offense in most of the major battles, and still lasted 4 years while inflicting almost twice as many casualties. Boys, I couldnt have asked for a more heroic defeat.

The South just played the political battle wrong before the war, they allowed the north to paint what you just said as the issue. That wasn’t the main issue though! Obviously the history taught by schools these days isn’t all true.
