This was my first lure and I caught a ton of fish with it. The brownish one; never a large mouth😊 however. I reel the slack then pull the rod up youll feel it vibrate then reel the slack pull and repeat
It's a great first lure! My first lure was the trout magnet but I used this one as well. I feel like it's somewhat of an old faithful at this point. Thanks for checking out the video!
It's a great one for the creek! I really like the rebel lures for panfish and bass fishing. For the price they are lures every creek fisherman should have in his tackle box.
I always take both treble hooks off and do a single siwash hook on the pinchers. Split ring, size 10 barrel swivel and a size 6 or 8 Gamakatsu siwash hook.
@delconashvilleline I feel like you'd loose more fish with the hook built into the lure. My way they can do an alligator death roll and that hook ain't coming out! It also get them nippers that like to strike from further back since the hook is further back. Definitely worth trying.
You are right, it sinks a little. They also make it in a few different sizes. This one is the smallest they make and it pretty much stays on top of the water or slightly under the surface. Thanks for checking out the video!
