I can’t have children because of a congenital heart condition. I have my silicon baby boy for therapeutic reasons. As I also suffer with anxiety depression and PTSD so he helps me a lot sometimes just to get out of the house. Ps I know my silicon baby is not real when I take him out and people ask I’m always completely 100% honest and ❤❤❤ thank you so much for making this video Tori
Tori, I agree with you!!! I have always liked dolls all my life. I am now 59 years old and collect reborn dolls. I am not on social media but I do get on here to enjoy the doll community as much as I can. I hear people say they are creepy but 99%of the time it’s because of some ungodly movies about dolls. Everyone gets creeped out over different things and that’s ok! We all have opinions. I to am a believer in Christ and I to have five children and now 21 grandkids so I love children but I have always love babies and dolls. Like some guys collect fake cars some woman collect fake babies. Hobbies differ from one person to the other.

The words these women use...they seem so angry, but why???? I 100% don't care what anyone thinks. Oh and I take my dogs and cats out in strollers, they love it!! I started collecting reborns because I enjoy taking photos, then I became very attached to them which surprised me. If somebody treats them as if they are real, what is the problem? There people collect all Disney stuff that got hundreds of it. I know a lot of them that do and they’ll ship away to Paris Disney and get a buyer that will ship it back to them if it makes them happy and they can afford it. I’m off for.w have cut back on my rebound due to the fact that I’ve got three girls None of them were into dolls. I have 4 Reborn dolls that I have for my PTSD Therapy. I'm currently planning for my last & final Reborn doll. The reason I have PTSD is bcause of some traumatic events that our family went through. I originally looked into getting a service dog, but they're too expensive. These dolls are cheaper. Some of the traumatic events include losing some of our family pets due to Animal Cruelty, they died in front of me & that plays in my mind like a song or video on repeat 24/7. These dolls have saved my life, I know that sounds nuts. But it's true. I went from having no control over my episodes to having control over them. Each doll represents each of the furbabies we lost, it's our way to honor their memories.

She is something else! I do struggle with infertility and have failed fertility treatments. I would LOVE to foster but my husband is military and we move every three years. I have been involved with big brothers big sisters. And I in no way think my dolls are real or treat them as such. I have a masters degree and work full time in healthcare. So I would like to think I am not crazy 🤪 Like you said when I see something I don’t like or agree with on the internet I KEEP SCROLLING. The fact that someone feels the need to bully someone else about something like a hobby says a lot about them as a person!

I’m 77 yr old retired porcelain doll artist. I lived and breathed dolls all my life. Had a shop for many years where I taught doll making and sold doll making supplies. Had to give it up about 10 years ago, as the heavy plaster molds became too heavy for me to work with. I find reborn dolls so thrilling. I’ve started buying them to make me just feel good. I’ve got 4 grown children. I love dolls and enjoy sewing them new clothes.

So, I recently bought two reborn dolls after watching a RU-vid commentary video on the reborn community. Honestly, I wouldn’t even say the video was positive/negative I had watched, more so like = people are doing this now. And I literally started researching and got invested! Content like yours definitely are the ones who got me excited enough to play with dolls again. I haven’t had this much fun in the past 20 years, and I’m 33.
I just went onto her page to do some more research about this woman... I saw an interview she did with someone about how TAYLOR SWIFT's music is "demonic" and "evil" etc... I'm so very confused and mad that someone would spend so much of their time talking about things just to anger other people. She is truly sickening, not our hobbies or likes.

Wait until she discovers alternitive reborns (like vampires, aliens etc) I adore babies, I always have since I was a little girl. So the same as someone might collect bear figurines, or model cars, I collect model babies. Also as a mom of 3 it is wild when they say just have a real child. Absolutely wild. So because I love babies I should just keep having more even if I am emotionally physically and financially unable to give them the care they need, ofcourse not! A baby is a whole person, not just a baby, and you should certainly not bring a whole human into the world just because you think they are cute. The dolls don't wake me up several times a night so another big plus.😂 I have a friend who has the uncanny valley reaction to my dolls. She simply told me they creep her out because they are too realistic and that was that. No disrespect needed.

I used to push my Chihuahua around in his fur baby stroller. I have two brittle bone diseases, so it was handy for me to use instead of having to do walks with my rollator walker.

I'd like to block them both. i left a message because I so disturbing of the comments that she encouraging the nasty negativity, saying we all demented etc. Which i know has helped women that miscarriage saying causing worse mental health. Seems like she is spending a lot of time “investigating” this little hobby. I was in shock when I first learned about the community and saw some videos but fell in love with the community and dolls and have gone to a couple of doll shows made great friends. It is fun. Just fun. She likes it and doesn’t want to admit it. Just my opinion.
I think she really needs to mind her own business. She is definitely not educated in what reborns are for and has know right saying anything. Reborns are used for therapy and collecting. I don't have kids but I have I have nieces and nephews but the dolls also help me with my autism Amber she's a newborn doll she comes everywhere with me and I have American girl dolls too this lady doesn't understand our community and I wouldn't I would never ever I had a little bit of a problem like a couple months ago when a lady thought I was funny and me and my sister were on the bus and I had Amber right next to me my newborn doll Amber and I had a right next to me and this lady thought it would be funny and she grabbed Amber and I screamed and say give her back my doll and the bus driver stopped the bus and that lady is that lady wasn't allowed to be she's not allowed to be on the bus anymore

I saw this episode by Allie Beth Stuckey, WOW she’s gone down hill! It really disgusted me and bothered me how she was judging and talking down to adults who enjoy collecting reborn dolls. She’s a Christian extremist, most Christians aren’t like this, and there are many Christians who collect reborns. Lol…she wants to make this illegal 😅good luck with that Allie, she’s off her rocker! She calls herself a Christian, she needs to look in the mirror! Yes, it’s about making money for her show! The third Allie video you showed of a reborn collector swinging her doll, I know who she is, she is a super cool person and has a wonderful collection, and does amazing photos! Allie and her assistant did not do any research about the hobby and the history of reborns. I have loved dolls all my life, I mainly collected Barbie dolls throughout my adult life until around 2020 and I saw these reborns, then I got hooked with collecting these dolls! I’m an artist, so seeing these dolls for the first time totally intrigued me! This woman's whole channel is about sensationalizing things. If she weren't talking about other people/communities, she'd have no content. Both of these women have the stuck up old lady vibe about them. They've done no research and just do this for monetary gain. I don’t have reborn dolls but I do collect soft vinyl newborn baby dolls that are life sized and made to feel realistic. I play with them with my niece. She sounds like she has mental issues. Drama Queen behavior is oozing out of her comments.
