Better styling than I could ever do. Doing the thing with snipping the hair how you do is correct(: they do it so it has life to it. Very gorgeous baby too.

I love reborning even with just my one hand ,the hardest part for me is to root the hair because I can't tack the hair down with my left so I have to just set it on the head and poke . My question is I use a 42 gauge crown needle should I try a forked needle or stick a barbed
This was so unique Jackie! I honestly don't think I've ever seen a video like this that's for sure. I'm not a reborn artist but I honestly love these sort of videos as each artist is different and I love to see how each individual artist creates their babies

My word everything about your reborn work is amazing and outstanding! Did you paint the eye brows? I struggled real bad with eye brows, I do not paint them I use a pencil and I did switch my pencils to a water color and it works so much better if I make a mistake it comes off better. I just love your work. xoxo
You actually did really good! I’m a cosmetology teacher. So if you were to put a comb flat on the head it would not sit flat. The angle curves with the head. So redirecting like you did at the top makes it a feathery look.

+Enchanted Creations I am unsure what is easiest. All I know is that I do not like cutting mohair when it is wet. It gets stuck on my hands and it just makes the process a bit frustrating for me. hahaha. As for rooting, I dont know how long you root for. But, I root for an hour and then I give myself a 2 hour break by painting or doing something else. My hands have not cramped (yet), and that could be a reason why. Also, I dont know if how we root has to do with that. I will soon show how I root and what I root with :) Thank you so much for this awesome question! I hope I was of any help.
jackie, how much do you charge to root a reborn (vinyl)? I am not that great at it and i have a kit i already have painted and i am wondering if you could root the whole doll head?( eyebrows, lashes, and hair) Or would it be cheaper to have you paint them on? reborns are hand made dolls, Ashton Drake dolls are manufactured in a factory. Don't believe everything you read. I wasn't being rude, you asked if it was an Ashton Drake kit, I said no.
