If there is anyone who wants to know the full story. This is how I interpret it: Basically, the king and lower concubine falls in love at the start of the story. However, this brings upon jealousy from the main concubine. Lower concubine gets bullied by the main concubine often. One day, the guard of the king suddenly gave her a sachet (which I think that he convinces her that if she use the content in the sachet, she would no longer be bullied). Lower concubine although was favoured by the king, she is very weak and prone to manipulations. In the end, she uses the sachet on the main concubine. Main concubine becomes a zombie and killed almost all people in the harem. Lower concubine survived (as she is saved by the king) but she thinks the zombie apocolyse was just a nightmare. However, she realized that there was something wrong after she wake up. The king who is manly and favoured her, has habits of a woman (embroidering, brushing hair in front of mirror). It is said that the martial art he is using makes him more feminine) Then the truth is revealed to her when she saw both the king and guard is having an affair. The king fell in love with the guard. The guard was the one who was so jealous, he used the lower concubine to get rid of harem. She tries to persuade the king to be truthful I think, she wants her former relationship back with the king, but the king refuses. He cold-heartly turned her away. Maybe the king has already made up his mind. Lower concubine then regained her memories and resented the guard so much, she wants to poison him. But her scheme was noticed and she was subdued. Everyone thought she was killed by the king. Then the really real truth is revealed, the lower concubine is actually alive and is living a peasant life. The king saved her, out of pity or the love that the king had for lower concubine, the king wanted to spare her from the pain of living in the palace. The king has always known about the guard's(his lover) scheme of trying to get rid of the harem and using the lower concubine to do it. But instead he made no move to stop the guard, nor prevent the lower concubine from being manipulated. Maybe he has always planned to ensure the lower concubine lives outside the palace happiliy, or maybe he just loves the guard so much than the lower concubine that he allows the guard's jealousy to do bad things.

This is a beautiful piece of cinema. Not a word spoken, and in 12 minutes it tells a whole story. Everything, from costumes, location and the song are all wonderful. I’ve watched this multiple times. Can’t get enough. The two guys are also very hot, which is a big plus. I hope they do a lot more like this one

I can't get enough of watching his videos. Not only does he have a beautiful voice, but the way he along with the director (music director) tells the story on each video is absolutely mesmerizing. He really is one of my favorite artists. Vietnam needs more recognition and spotlight for its music and arts.

@The Fiend Right, I probably should have specified when I said director. He is the creative director and writer and Nguyen is the music director. He has such a captivating way of telling a story and Nguyen's musical direction is beautiful and always fits perfectly. Denis has such an amazing voice. I really think Vietnamese music needs more recognition. They have some fantastic artists.

The king will have to put his foot down and demand his man stop acting out when he has to keep up appearances by being with a concubine and just know and accept that he loves only him.

I am so impressed. The budget and hard work that went into this clearly shows. The story is exquisite. I love how the king knew about everything. He loved the woman in the beginning but his heart changed. Yet he didn't let her suffer. He knew that as long as she loved him his cruel and manipulative lover and her would never stop fighting. He let her forget and live a happy life outside the palace while he and his lover can be tgt. I love how he is able to be both wise yet passionate in his loves. He knew what his lover was like and chose what he thinks would be the best outcome for all of them. I am amazed at this channel and it's work

Denis has grown so much as an actor, just look at the subtle changes in expression that convey so much. In the early days you can see he was the slightly unsure and new to it all in his stage performances, but he is so confident now 💕 Also, how exquisite is NTTQ’s voice? Petition for the full drama. Literally the story and the acting is top tier. Since china put censorship on bl dramas i hope Vietnam and thaiwan produce more costume bl dramas. I'm eager to watch these kind of dramas. Also the song is so beautiful and pleasant.

@@Lynn-by7mj The zombies are killed by the black dress guy and the king snatches their hearts to kill them. Also you find her under his bed because she becomes curious after the initial encounter between the king and the bodyguard, so to confirm her suspicion she spies on them by hiding under their bed. Hope this clarifies.

Well, he allowed his boyfriend to massacre his entire female harem and then later implicitly erased his ex-girlfriend's memory against her will (after scaring her unconscious by swinging a sword at her throat). So yeah, with mass murdering, some good old-fashioned feudal fantasy roofies, and straight up physical threats, personally, "not toxic" is not the first word that comes to my mind.

I just found out that all the clothes and tools that are used in the MV were provided by a Chinese company. The MV was created to promote a Chinese phone game. However, a few actors in the MV were later found out humiliated China, thus, the MV was on suspension. So, the MV should NOT ever be released to the public as it break the contract!

El guardia de negro estaba enamorado del rey( Denis), pero en ese tiempo el rey se había enamorado de su concubina( la que sale en el vídeo) y ella se convirtió en su preferida, por eso la que ya era su preferida( la otra) le agarró cólera porque el rey solo tenía ojos para la nueva concubina. El guardia al ver eso aprovechó el momento, sabía que a la nueva concubina le harían bullying por ser de bajo status, entonces un día al ver que la golpeaban le dio un polvo y le habrá dicho que lo utilice cuando la golpearan de nuevo. Lo que sucede aquí es que el guardia mató a dos pájaros de un tiro porque hizo que todo el harem del rey muriera, por esa razón el Rey la rechaza después, como que está molesto con ella por haber matado a todo el harem(inconscientemente), entonces en ese periodo de tiempo, el guardia se acerca al rey y él se da cuenta de los sentimientos de este al intentar besarlo, por eso como que lo aventó porque lo estaba probando, sin embrago creo que se enamoró del guardia, pero como lo mencionan más abajo, su relación es más sexual que amor. Con el de su concubina era más amor puro que se0ual. El rey al ver que los dos se querían matar, (la concubina y el guardia) decidió fingir la muerte de ella porque sabía que si seguía en el palacio iba a intentar matar al guardia y sobre todo que el guardia iba a intentar matarla a ella, por eso como que finge la muerte de ella y está feliz que se encuentre bien

Ren potter there is a back story from this I believe that the main character was studing differnt types of kungfu or fighting studies and came into a forbidden fighting styles that turned him girlish turned beautiful I believe I dont remeber the the name of the book or movie it was but it was pretty good

Có 1 sự thật là khi xem MV của anh thì e thấy a là 1 con ng khác, khi đi nghe a hát live là 1 con ng khác, khi xem a livestream dậy học lại là 1 ng khác. nhưng thật kì diệu là dù ở vai trò nào, em cũng thấy a thật xuất sắc, trách nhiệm, nghiêm túc và tâm huyết thật đấy! có lẽ làm fan của A ở thời điểm này là phù hợp nhất, không thừa không thiếu 1 cảm xúc nào 😊

I am watching it for the 5th time now. I have this habit of watching things more and more when I like it. I can't even explain in words what I am feeling rn. Being a film studies major ,what mesmerized me was the use of colour palette . And it isn't an easy job. Thus it proves how good this whole production team was. I am spellbound with the background score. I feel like am addicted to it. Every actor is just so good. But I like the person who played the queen. That scene in the snow fall when her lover is leaving her, her heart wrenching cry just brought tears in my eyes. Denis is as usual beautiful . He's just like water. He takes the shape of perfection. 💙

Lời bài hát hay dễ nghe gần gũi. Giọng hát nhẹ nhàng. Cốt truyện có đầu tư, công phu. MV chất liệu màu, cổ trang, phối nhạc, tiếng sáo, chất liệu dân gian tuyệt vời. Beautiful. Simply stunningly beautiful art, like every one of these short masterpieces. And delivering a complex storie, without the need for words, in such a short time. Simply amazing and mesmerizing, you watch it unfold without taking a breath. (And i am always stunned by all the beauty of everyone, but there is just something in those dark eyes that always draws me toward Trung Quan.)
