These tutorials are great, I like the set up! I've never been interested in reborning myself (just collecting reborns) but this is making me want to maybe give it a go when I have the money for the supplies etc :) . And if I do I'll definitely be watching these tutorials!

Layer 1 - Clean kit Layer 2 - Flesh coats until colour is desired Layer 3 - Veining Layer 4 - Flesh to give depth Layer 5 - Blushing and Highlights Layer 6 - Mottling Layer 7 - Creases Layer 8 - Lips, eyelids, ears Layer 9 - Nails Layer 10 - Sealer Coat This is an example only of the layers I do.

@VictoriaGreyh - The kit has to be designed with a full vinyl body. There are a few kits like this...Nod by Donna RuBert is one for example

Hi Nikki, I was wondering where I can buy the real effects air dry paints and also does the matt lack come with the paint? I guess you have to put the paint water and matt lack together than the paint wont wash off right? Im excited to make a reborn doll. I have the doll now I just need to get the paint. I am beggiining reborning . I've done 3 reborns so far. I need help is the bottle of liquid just water or is does it have a special word and in that case I need to use more . On my first reobrn I used solvent . Bad idea-- lol

What is matte lacquing? Is that the matt gel you can buy that some people put all over the reborn before the last baking to take off the shine?
