I think this has been my favourite FM series ever. If you still have the save file, doing a rebuild of Liverpool and Man United in the Championship could be fun 👀

Haaland story at the end is brilliant. And a valuable lesson in area that so many FM players fall into a trap: selling your elder players. I've learned my lesson in that department when I was doing Gloryhunter save for the first time, I think 2 years ago. Inspired by you, Luke :) It was even funnier as not only I did keep my 30-year-olds, but also managed to sign few players multiple times throughout the save, as they were reliable stalwarts in key positions. Overall it was a magnificent saga, fair play to you both. Cheers!

omega luke is (of course) so good at recruitment and had the more spending club, so he gained the advantage. after the 12th season, his squad was way better but you competed really nice for a newbie omega dad, props to you! in the next long-haul rebuilds try to go for four-five star talents at the back and midfield too. you have a lot of three star talents behind your forwards which caused you to be stagnant in the end. this series and rebuild challenge is really in the hall of fame of fm youtube content. thank you to both of you, you work your ass off for this channel and every piece of content you made in the last 3-4 months is pure gold, five-star level!

As for the argument about holidaying in game for rebuilds I 100% agree. Does my head in especially as you can still get sacked for poor results even tho the game says your not in charge. Unfortunately the game came further imbalanced due to the boards/financial clout Wrexham has over Notts. Fair dos to Omega Dad doing as well as he did. Shame but it is what it is. Love all the videos ❤️ such incredible work you both do. I have this idea you may or may not like but would be great to see a mini series. Similar to what you already do but you each do one season for every team in the premier league alphabetic order. Set budget. Simulate season the normal stuff. However for anyone you buy you then cant repurchase for any other team. Can do a points system based on league finish, cups, rivals beat etc.

I felt so sorry for your Dad during this one. I know he wins his fair share of rebuild but how well he done in thr initial 10 years with limited backing to then get pumped in the next 5 years. Feel for you Omega Dad.

I think this way of playing is honestly the way forward for the younger generation and simulating a season or simulated to certain periods Can see a larger player base if they give people the option Sometimes I do a save where I’m basically just playing to get to the transfer window 😂

I think thats the most interesting series. Really like the VS-Series against your dad. Maybe some future proposals: - Galatasaray/Fenerbahce: both struggle a bit in the last years - Hertha BSC / Union Berlin: Hertha in 2nd division but the bigger club, from perspectives regarding money and possibilities they should be in Bundesliga, Union with struggles this season - Rapid Vienna / Austria Vienna: one of the biggest rivalries in Austrian football, both are in the shadow of RB Salzburg.

Linfield v Glentoran rebuild would be class Luke. Both on small budgets in a league with 2 or 3 other teams who compete, Larne, Cliftonville and Crusaders, would be a really good watch!

Archie Gray is in fact related to Eddie Gray. Archie is the son of Andy Gray who played for Leeds too, Andy's dad is Frank Gray who also played for Leeds and finally Eddie Gray is Frank's brother. The Gray family are bonafide Leeds United royalty

It would be interesting to know what the bank balances looked like with Omega Dad constantly having less of a transfer budget if that left him with more in the bank and the club were just holding the money or what was going on

I mentioned this before but I'm just on the second season and OmegaDad has bought players from Arsenal, Man City, Barcelona, Milan and Spurs. Omega Luke has bought players from Athletic Bilbao, Plymouth, Club America, Lanus, Santos Laguna and Defensor Sporting! The difference is so fun to watch and when OmegaDad masters the scouting network its going to be very close between you guys. Love it.

Always funny to me when I see you guys tactics and think how I don't think I've *ever* used an asymmetrical tactic on *any* FM and you two use them all the time pretty successfully. Maybe I'm missing a trick 😅

That thing of your assistant getting all the credit gets me too. I won 3 Serie A 's, 2 Italian Cups and the Champions League but Kole Toure (My assistant) kept getting the Manager of The Season award.

Pretty sure to save the order of who plays what position can be fixed with the squad planner. If you organize what player you want to be a priority in the position and who you don't want in that position lower down your assistant ends up following that plan. Might be wrong but think it does help when sinulating.

what if you both create a club on bundesliga, both with 200M on the general balance, with all facilities at level 3.5 and all players having 130 current ability and 145 potential ability? it would be good to see who can get the best tactics and recruitment

I would class these rebuilds as being the DoF + doing tactics. I stopped vacationing through and started clicking through myself so I get credit. I use match plans to sim games with and be a bit adaptable takes a /lot/ longer but also means I can do things like continually sign and scout free agents in the national league or what not. The game should allow all playstyles.

On the subject of "holidaying" the season. Your assistant gets all the credit if you do well. Do badly and you get the sack. It doesnt make much sense. Surely if the assistant takes all the plaudits for a good season, they should pay with their job if it doesnt go so well. I've also found that instant results button actually counts as you playing yet it's basically the same as managing.

My mate OD just didn't get the backing from the board, consistently got half the funds in wages and transfer pot. Still, you'd be a Notts Co. legend! Luke's tactic definitely obliterated the league.
