You all are so much appreciated . I thank God for you almost every day . Your information is invaluable and I still sleep with a rolled up sheet under the small of my back . Please give Bob our best and have a wonderful summer . ❤👋👍
Very sorry to hear that! Sometimes when it isn't treated properly from the start, it can take a long time to heal, but it should heal and give you relief eventually.
The ankle strengthening video link didn’t pop up on the screen at the end. And we couldn’t find it in the “more” area either. Could you put it in the comments? ☺️
The easiest way to find things is just to search for in RU-vid search ("Bob and Brad ankle strengthening exercises"). You can also go to their playlist if you want to see all videos pertaining to a certain body part
Yes it did pop up on the bottom left side of the screen, the video was from 2 years ago. Anyways, hopefully you see the link they reposted specifically for you.
This is good timing, 10 days ago I injured my ankle with a bad sprain and a stable fracture of the medial. They didn't give me a cast because of where the fracture is, right at the bottom of the medial, so it would make a cast pointless. Instead I am supposed to wear a large "boot" that they gave me, but even after making sure its fitted correctly all it did was cause me even worse pain and discomfort and made getting around such a pain. So I simply went back to wearing my normal footwear and started to try and use my foot as normally as possible, within reason of course. Now ten days later I can almost walk normally, there is still pain around the edge of the inside ankle bone and around the edge and across the top of the outer ankle, but the swelling is almost non-existent and the bruising has gone completely. I take VitD3, Zinc and Magnesium supplements every day, along with a relatively high protein diet, since I workout and am 50yrs old, I think this combo has been most beneficial to my recovery. Thanks for the exercises, I will put them to good use.
This is great info ~ thx guys~I have to watch my ankles carefully the main cause is shoes with too soft of a inside ~ especially the memory foam ~ it’s had to find tennis shoes without that! ~ say hello to Bob ~ we always think about him.
I swear it seems that every time I have an issue with my bone structure, bob and brad have just uploaded a video on that issue. I had just told my son how my ankle has been bothering me the last few days. It feels like I twisted it when I'm just lifting it off the floor. On returning to the kitchen I see a notification that Bob and Brad have uploaded a video about ankle pain. Are you guys spying on me or something??? Only kidding. But not kidding about how wonderful your videos are and how much help I've got from them. Thank you so much guys.
Put my ankle two years ago and now the screws and plates look like they are falling out of place and what should I do now I didn’t get to do all these exercise. They did somewhere like what you guys are doing but they never did the complete exercise with me they just said I did good then they sent me home.
I broke my ankle and foot last year. I have plate and screws in ankle and pins in metatarsals. I’m stiff and will try these. Cold causes aches and stiffness.
is it safe to do the plantarflexion exercises with posterior ankle impingement? I get pain deep in the ankle joint when I sit back on my heels or pull the foot downwards too much, which i think must be posterior impingement following a low ankle sprain I sustained a few months ago
A physical therapist had me trace the alphabet with my foot when my legs were stretched out in front of me. It helped but took way more concentration than I have some days. Your exercises are helping me much more.
Hello!🙂 this question relates to your various videos on exercises you should do every day. Because of health conditions, I have fatigue, and doubt I'll ever be able to do all of them every day. I do exercises throughout the day, whenever I stand. You've probably heard of that study showing that for every half hour of sitting you should stand up and move around for 5 minutes. So that's the minimum I aim for. (Usually I'm up a lot longer than that, doing other things I need to do in addition to a couple of exercises). So, my question is, if you had to pick the most efficient, effective exercises to do every day, what would they be? Or, if you think all of them should still be done, can you suggest some kind of weekly cycle? Thanks!
Great question. We think all the ones we have in our daily exercise videos are perfect, but the ones people pick out of them is up to them, depending on what they are aiming for.
@@BobandBrad Thankyou😀, but I wasn't asking which exercises are perfect😀. I was asking which ones are most efficient in terms of working the most body areas at a time...
Click the "more" button even though they've said it several times already, Bob has Ataxia he's still in the sidelines you probably won't see him in the videos much anymore though.
Bob (the tall one) has been diagnosed with Ataxia. It affects his balance and his speech, but does not affect his thinking. We appreciate your understanding and support!
I injured my foot a number of years back. I powered through it. The result is it still gets sore, especially the first steps in the morning. Can these exercises help, too?
