Really enjoyed your video fella, got a tsi, just wanted to see how its put together. I used to assemble car interiors from the factory for various car manufacturers here in the UK and went on to quality and customer visits and fault rectification. Its no easy job learning a vehicle, you should be very proud of your work. You did a proper job there.👍
Great job Nathan I’ve just purchased my first vw up move up the screenwash bottle filler at top isn’t connected to front of car there is a hole and slot but doesn’t seem to be anything filler cap connects to thanks.

You might add glove box removal to your keywords in the description cuase that is what I was looking for. Found it luckily and hope it will work out that way. Looked far more easy on the german VW Up repair side. Not a word about the center console and its removal.
Im doing a vw up at the minute too. Loved the detail you've gone to better than the other guys that are doing on here. How much did you pay for the airbags? Where did you buy it from?
Thanks got Asda means a lot and I bought the dash board kit and all the rest of the parts to repair the car from www.vwupparts.com really sound guy and I paid £675 for the complete dash kit which is the going rate for a facelift dash kit
Hi Nathan, I have repaired a Audi A1 30 TSI 2020, it had damage t the passenger side and needed the drive shaft and the suspension arm replacing, the air bags were deployed too. I have now fixed all the mechanical damage and now need to sort out all the electronic stuff. The steering wheel is very heavy and mechanic says it is a electronic reset fault. I have had a diagnostics done with a several fault codes the mechanic does not understand. Can you please advise how I can reset the steering please?
Hi Nathan. Which is the size of the screw driver to remove the steering wheel in this Up? I need to replace mine and put a sporty one but I do not know which screw I have to use and the diameter of the steering column groove, to order my new steering wheel.
Hey mate nice work! Do you know if it would be possible to retrofit a MFSW (Multifunction steering wheel) with buttons? Question is whether there is a wiring hardness and if not is it feasible at all to attempt?

Nathan, what was the faultcode from de powersteering?? and what was it to reset the powersteering?? mine doesn,t work now its a 12-2015 Seat Mii. Thanx in advance. regards JO
@@NathanHiley Hello, thank you for the answer, I installed the airbag successfully and there was no problem, but the steering light is on and the error Crash shutdown has been triggered? I could not clear the error, thank you for your help🙏
You said airbag when fitting the seatbelts, pre tensioner. You can have them sent away and get them reset just for future info. Nice video. Why did you remove the front shock if there was no damage?
My mistake haha but you new what I meant. I’ve had belts redone before but still came up with fault code so dont bother with them anymore and what ever car I repair if it’s had a hit to the suspension I replace everything as previously I did a Skoda Citigo with a bent wishbone leg and hub looked fine untill I took the car of axel stands and the wheel was still crabbing which was due to damaged shock and hub so now I replace every time to save time
The front struts appear to be quite fragile I repaired a cat D Citigo earlier this year. Minor side swipe but a bent strut too. The guy at VW parts was really helpful and great prices.
About the passenger airbag, could anyone perhaphs confirn wether if it needs the orange clip to be pushed in to lock, to prevent a dashboard light error?
Hi dc-nh and yes it needs the orange clip to the the wiring plug into the air bag which then makes the circuit if not there will be a open circuit and will give you a fault code and air bag light

Thank you and I’ve got half of a video done but then when ever I had some spare time it rained then tier 4 happened and misses just gave birth to my second son on news years Eve . Hopefully the next couple of weeks I’ll have part 4 out and need to get bidding on some more cars
Hi Im guessing your airbags have gone off if so all that is required is to replace which ever air bags and seat belts that have gone of and crash sensor and the air bag module will reset with diagnostics like most modern VAG group cars . If that’s not the case and you air bag module is faulty it’s under the centre console hope this helps
@@NathanHileythanks for your help. No Airbag wasn't deployed but the front crash sensor has crash data recorded because it's a front impact crash. Can I use VCDS software to do the SRS Reset?

A lot of earlier VAG group Skoda had bolt in passenger airbag units, Fabia mainly, but it's more profit for the manufacturer to supply the complete dash rather than an airbag module.

But due to bad weather when I had time to do the car and then tier 4 as I don’t keep the cars at my house and my partner just gave birth to my second son on New Year’s Eve so hopefully in the next couple of weeks I’ll have a new video and need to get bidding on some more cars
