REBUILDING a SUPRA on a budget part 16 - Semi complete supra for the first time

Haha yea during this covid shit we are scarey slow so no biggie on working on personal stuff duriing this kinda of time. Any other time I would be hearing about it lol. But Yea budget deff going to grow but I'm still trading paint as much as I can for parts and now motor parts too. So I'm still doing good. Still going to be a super cheap build. I'm keeping track. Now I'm not going for 1000hp either just respectable amount of power....so we will see!

Hell yeaaa. When I'm pretty much done I'm going to try to make one video. Restore a supra in 10 mins. Imagine seeing the progress in 10 mins.

Matt Pratt hey thanks man. Actually this is my 3rd Supra, I’ve had at least one Supra for most of the last 15 years including a 6spd TT which I converted myself to single. I have another spare NA 5spd which is my daily drive. I also help run the uk owners club so know them pretty well 🤓 My issue is mainly lack of time and a suitable place to work on it... well and motivation which your video series has definitely helped with!! Thanks!! Yea man I go back and forth, it is traditional black, but guess what...I have collected an all new look lol. After the motor work is done i have new bumpers, skirt and wing setup...and it will all be color matched lol.

Yea dude your right. Allot of colors do that. But in my head i am going to try one more thing. So 2 weeks before I painted the car I had the paint mixed. The paint did sit for 2 weeks so maybe there is a chance that the toners that make the color might have altered? So I still have some of this paint left over....I'm going to re shoot the rear bumper with this color and see if it helps. But yes there is always a different in angles and material it's sprayed on. I just have to try one more thing to cross it off the list lol. Thanks for looking out!

Nice! Btw, the rear bumber color looks a little off to me, idk why, maybe it’s just the angle.. Just wanted you let you know. But it’s very slight, if you hadn’t said anything I probably wouldn’t have noticed it.

Yea it's allot of work. But you can def do it your self and save money. Just take your time and learn as much as you can. Dedication. At One point I didn't know what I was doing. When you complete something it's the best feeling ever

I paid less then 10 grand. Believe it or not it was under a car cover a few neighborhoods away from my parents house. Just so happened I heard about it and luck would have it we worked out a deal quick.

If you guys enjoy it I'll keep doing it. Just a little longer in editing and remembering shots. Once I get a full frame camera it's going to be easier. I'm using a cheap camera at the moment.

Yeah you're pretty much right just the slightest angle changes a shade and it looks like the bumpers off. I did respray it in a later video and it looks a little better.

@@mattFNpratt yeah saw that video in the mean time. But man the more I see your Supra the harder my heart is pounding in my chest and the love grows for the Supra Mk4. One day will there be a Supra with a registration on my name on the drive way.
