The two coolant tanks are for the engine coolant and intercooler coolant. This car uses a fairly complex mechanical water pump system to cool both the engine and the turbocharger, as well as a seperate circuit to manage the water to air intercooler, which actually lives inside the intake manifold. If you take the plastic engine cover off, you can see the coolant lines running to the black plastic intake manifold. As far as your pass side alignment goes, I would check the front lower control arm (the one with a kink) and compare it to your driver's side one to see if it's bent out of shape. Those control arms bend very easily and are often the first issue when you have a strange camber problem. If it is bent and you do not replace it, it will fatigue and break because the angle that the arm will be at will not be correct. Make sure you get the replacement Toyota part and not the BMW part because the bushings in the Supra version are stiffer than the Z4 counterpart. That lower aluminum crash bar is not structural btw, and is mainly just there to give support for the bumper if you put an aggressive splitter on the car for downforce, a nice touch by Toyota. The headlights you purchase will not come with the ballast/controllers that mount on the back of them so you will have to transfer those over or replace them if they were water damaged. Also your car is definitely in limp mode because the B58 revs very freely in Park or Neutral. As a note, don't forget to purchase the bumper aprons and the wiring harness that lives inside the bumper because they are necessary to get the bumper on properly and aren't very obvious. If you need info on the radar system or parking sensors, let me know, because there are a few different types and you need specific ones.
I would like to thank you for using punctuation in this long comment. Lack of punctuation in a comment annoys the hell outta me, esp., if it's a book that I gotta read...
They are like spunges absorbing so much knowledge, and how fast they learn. Will be so interesting to see how they develope in the future. I think they will have a car at Sema in a couple years:) If they dont know something they will do more research than most people evner will and keep grinding until they get things done. The options are endless! One thing i know, they learn fast:)
Hi guys I repaired a 2019 5 series Bmw recently and the temp sensor located in the front bumper was disconnected and the car wouldn’t go out of limp mode it caused a load of problems also make sure you don’t get any water in the connections 😰 Love the build there difficult to get codes read as well.
You know what I’ve noticed no one ever talks about the quality of your videos how well put timed they are 20 minutes video don’t feel long because of how well it’s put together love your videos guys keep it UPPPP please !!! We appreciate y’all 🤙🏽
Lol! I love these guys! "That would be pretty easy to replace" (10 seconds later) "that would be hard to replace"! Haha.. My favorite channel because you know these guys are literally learning as they go. Very impressive!
Working on cars is so much easier than people think. Thanks for showing people what you do and giving them a bit more confidence to attack a project they wouldn't have.
@@pharoahamunra Its not an accent... He says T-yota, they mispronounce a lot of words lol. I can forgive being they are young ones tho. We should gift them a hooked on phonics class :D
Hey goonzsquad, I love y’all’s videos man for real. They are really fun to watch and I wish I could have one of y’all’s cars. Literally I would take anyone of y’all’s builds! My car broke down yesterday and I’ve just been watching y’all’s videos wishing I could have one 🤦🏾♂️❤️
@@jameswood678 well, for one thing: you can't just swap in a new battery on a BMW like they did. The computer must be reprogrammed to accept it along with its age otherwise it either won't charge correctly or the system may reject it if the charge profile is incorrect. That kind of complexity. Not new to the channel; I know these guys are good.
@goonzsquad once you get it out of limp mode, you’ll need to hold traction control button down for 10 seconds to fully disengage it. Then you should be able to do a burnout.
I say it TIEETTY due to the fact I don't like FOREIGN CARS like HONDAS TOYOTAS NISSANS HYUNDIAS KIAS the only FOREIGN CARS I like are GERMAN BRITISH that is all
You need to push the hand brake down to turn it on and pull it up when running to turn off. I drove one yesterday so you can trust me. 👍🏻 🥰#Toyota life.
"It looks easy to replace" "Man that would be hard to replace" "Imagine carbon sides, would look sick" "Yeah it would look weird with the door line, it would look unpainted." "Lets get a black hood with carbon accents" "Lets get carbon hood side and front and rear" WHAT IS GOING ON BOYS!! Cant agree on this one!!! hahahaha love my goonzquad
@@MKMENON_ yup can do windows down that settings called "global windows down" in app.. You can enable sport mode if you dont have it, performance pages, srt pages, set tpms stuff, change tire size for spedo, change milage on dash, disable drl dropout with turn signals, program your own key fobs with it.. and much more
@@rainbownwarrior208 They fixed it, they posted on IG that they changed the spark plugs and is all good now, but i don't know why they don't talk about it in the video
That Qwiek Jack's have paid for them self already.. once u bought it my thought was what a waist u have a lift also . But now the lift have been underutilized.. lol I'm johan all the way from south Africa loving all your builds. ...
I think you can scan the car without going to a dealer, i found it on another BMW car restoration video. I think the device called Carly. The Supra basicly from BMW, right? So i think Carly could handle some codes...
I have a Carly module for my 335i and it’s amazing. It reads all the codes and you can code on it. Like turn off the seat belt ding, start car on key, and a lot of other stuff. Pretty legit and worth it
@@TBHundreds You can just download the software BMW uses for coding and have actual full access to every module in the car and you don't pay some stupid subscription.
@@siegeimage9789 I don't think this car will have the staying power the Mustang has no matter how many times they improve it or redesign it. I find it odd they had to improve it after the first year on the market. That has to tel you something.
Can't wait to see the next episode on the trackhawk and hopefully you boys are able to get everything you need for the supra keep up the hard work boys god bless to you and the family
Will be nice to follow your journey on this one!! Making it into a driftcar would be great and maybe letting papadakis racing taking care of the engine would be even greater! But whatever you guys decide will be interesting to watch.
Nothing. That was video just to generate views/revenue. They ain't building anything with that. Just like that cop car that been sitting on the same spot for last 4 months. Channel is new project one after another to get maximum amount of subs/views. I am shocked how they aren't burned out by this point. Imagine doing this for year plus and shooting your own videos and editing. They are working pretty much 7 days a week.
