Its over guys! We are finally done with this project and we are happy we got to share the entire journey with you guys. We cant wait to move onto the next one here soon! Thanks for watching!!!
Never EVER a dull moment here! Believe it or not Ive been watching your channel since senior year in Highschool. I am now 25 & I still really enjoy watching your videos. Im always excited for the next video & wow how far y'all have come in the years... I miss when you guys used to open the fan mail with your cat & dog in the garage. One day your watching a jeep wrangler build, & then to the mopars, to the foreigns, to the garage built in the parents backyard, to all the auction builds, the 1st house build, the warehouse build. Wow life moves fast & I am really happy for you guys! You both most definitely worked very hard to get where you are today & definitely deserve it. Also BIGGG shoutout to your parents & the fam I know they've worked very hard as well. Keep making videos, I know if I enjoy your videos, others do as well! Wishing y'all the best, stay blessed! - Sim
Simon the word your looking for is hydro locking. Great job as usual! You guys have taken perseverance, improvise adapt, and overcome to the max! Great job, press on. Looking forward to the next project.
I think one of the best things about automotive youtube channels is that they are saving and rebuilding cars that really would not get rebuilt any other way.
@@goti36v tuned is higherd help that means he is paid for his services their is thousands of body shops threw texas who would happily take on PAID WORK don’t forget V TUNE FAN BOY , you stick to flipping burgers BOY !!!!
@@leadballoon06if you call that "friends" then I never want to be your friend. They only call Ben when they need him to do work for them. Ask me how I know.... Friends don't call you only when they need something. That's not a friend guy
Great job guys. And I love the cinematics and off-roading shots. You worked so hard on this one, it's great to see you out and enjoying it and showing off your work. Watch the paint, exhaust and wheels.
I have had a rare opportunity to meet Simon a few days ago at the local Starbucks, and both Simon and his wife were super amazing, humble, and welcoming to us unknown people just saying Hi. While Aventador was nicely parked in reverse chilling in the sun, I could not imagine anyone more deserving of all of the success in this world then Simon and Billy! I have been watching the channel for the last 5 years since they worked on Hellcat and z06 and zl1, and that is how passion turns into success!!! Keep up the amazing work fellas, and many thanks for all the content you create for all of us. Alex
You guys are making amazing content as always. You got so far with this journey, with the chanell and everthing. Congratulations! I am following the channel about 5-6 yrs now and it is just amazing!
normal men not newer need go to out off road drive. ewerywere can drive car on the road, and were not can not sure need go whit car, only totally idiot go drive out off road. peoples have build road can drive good not need go to drive forest.
That was an epic rebuild and loved the price reveal and finale. Great rolling shots and locations. This one was one heck of a wreck but as you have proven many times over, you willing and able to tackle just about anything. Love the partnership with vTuned and that you got to put your new paint booth to use. The G-Wagon is one amazing machine that can really do it all. It's crazy how when Billy stomps on it the front end just raises up as it takes off. Big congrats! I'm now looking forward to seeing a Tremor!!!
Guys an outstanding video and cool footage of the G Wagon in action. I don't know about the other subscribers but I would really like to see you Guys finish off the Porsche and do a ripping around town or highway video on the Porsche! Sadly I can see your town has the same urban/industrial decay that is so prevalent across the country. Our Alcoa aluminum smelter where I live has been shut down for some years now and it's a sad deal because back in 1990 I was one of over a thousand or so employees who had a middle class job there. Those jobs are all now in China! Anyhow I am looking forward to the next video!
Guys the yellow dot or circle on the tire is supposed to be lined up with the valve stem do that and they will balance out beautifully. Trust me been a mechanic a long time and doing tires it pays in the long run to do it right
It does not matter what this build cost, it is the entertainment factor that counts. Without having Ben in the background would this build have turned out as good as it did? Possibly. The boys would have found some else to assist. Then there is the cost of all the equipment to make a build like this possible. The frame machine, spray booth, warehouse, equipment etc. Everyone’s time also comes at a cost. Bidding on these cars without a physical too is a risk. Those are some of the pitfalls. Nice built Goonsquad. Great content. Great entertainment.
What more can I say amazing car amazing people amazing garage. You people are so amazing from your dad. Everyone of you all the team involved man. I am so speechless. This car is a beast. Wow.
congratulations guys, great job!! What’s perfect is that I would have no problem registering this vehicle in France 🇫🇷!! thank you guys for your videos 👍🇫🇷
The G-Wagon rebuild makes economical sense for content reasons. Because without that, would be way more cost effective to buy one in mint condition. Especially taking into account the work hours with vTuned.
They don't pay Ben for his work. They just use him because he is a friend and that is the only time they talk to him is when they need him to work on things for them. 100% FACTS, not my opinion
@@ls4.8frank I'm sure your right....that's why he's been helping them out for years now... showing him no respect consideration nor compensation weather in trade or monitory recompense....🥴 We all know Ben to be a SKILLED craftsman & a good man. So what ever the dynamic don't you think it's between three grown ???
@maleficentcop2752 he is not mean enough to tell his friends NO. If I were there I'd speak up for him, but I'm not. He has to stop letting these two boys use him as a "friend".
I have driven a couple of these that my friends own and then test drove a brand new one. I absolutely fell in love with them. I have a GL 450 and it is great but the G wagon is its own beast. I am working on hopefully getting a brand new one this coming year 2024!
Awesome G-Wagon I'm from Rossville GA I watch you guys all the time. That big building is where Tim McGraws "Truck Yeah" video was filmed at... Probably heard some homeless people in there 😂
The issue with this G is the branded title and no warranty. No one, spending over 170K on a car wants one with the history this one has. Nice work on the restore but I think you would be lucky to break even if you had to sell it. I would just enjoy it. Values on these are going down as the hype around them is starting to dwindle because of gas prices and the cost to own an AMG car.
I expect business tax write-offs factor in to the decisions to build these. The wrecked vehicle and parts are all business costs for content creation even if they don't sell the finished vehicle.
After watching you guys rebuilding the g63, I gotta say, its my new dream car, when I got the money i'll get one for me and my family to enjoy! Keet it up guys! Peace.
I don’t know about anyone else but, for me it’s actually a pleasure to see someone using the car for what it’s meant for and built to do, not just a luxury riding on egg shells kinda car…use it, use the 4x4 it’s there for a reason
Don’t get me wrong, Im not saying to beat the crap out of it, im just saying you know ot has the capability so why not you know take a trail once ina while
Hi Simon .... I Think 🤔 you both should give the MERCEDES to POP'S cause I think he deserves it for all his help and being there for you !!!! That's my opinion Simon .... Have your POP'S AND YOUR MOM enjoy this build !!! Thanks for the great videos guys . From your friend THE BANDIT.......
I’d like to see the builds in person. I think you should buy/rent a building in Chattanooga where people can stop by and see the builds. You can sell your merch there too. Set the hours how you want. The builds will be out of your shop and in a climate controlled environment and people can swing by and check them out. Maybe rotate the inventory every once in a while. Have fun with it!
Kinda like a car museum for there collection honestly sounds good but insurance would probably go thru the roof having to insure all the cars then having workers there to make sure everything goes smooth might lose more than they would profit
Or at lest the cars that are not done yet or broke down after they fixed them ! Camaro,,,,,Cadillac,,,,dodge TRX,,,,,porsche,,,,,GTM,,,,Urius,,,,,tesla,,,Audi R8,,,,,

It doesn't look like you mounted the tires with the yellow or red dot lined up with the valve stem. Those dots are put there by the tire manufacture and need to be lined up with the valve stem to balance out correctly. But on another note, yes, those tires could be crap and not be able to balance out no matter what you do. I love the channel and the builds. Y'all are awesome!
I think yall should do a merch sale that enters people to send their personal vehicle to you and have it fixed/customized to their specs within reason of price. (Signing documents if its a liability) My tacoma for example, great truck but needs some tlc, but with the economy i cant afford to have what i want done. Just a thought
This project is ending as it should, to own not resell. There's too little profit if you include all the work you made deals or sponsorships to cover, let alone so much labor you guys put into it. Glad you're going to enjoy it!
During the price breakdown videos, I would love to see some B roll of what condition it was when you guys started as well as what a fantastic job you guys do in repairing it. Keep up the great work! Next car Mustang GT500?!
Still no before and after shots? would really make the final video pop if you could add some of the original shots but this was a really cool build, enjoyed it a lot, and really nice to see it finished to completion! I never really thought these were cool rides, and mostly for Hollywood wannabes, but now, I can see why they are popular. Seems pretty badass
Agreed, editor needs to add before and after clips side by side or something, would look really awesome. Other then that the build was really cool to follow but goddamn this wasnt cheap considering a clean title 2022 goes for like 180k-200k? Im always wondering on stuff like how good were those welds and pulling the frame.. Im not so sure I would let this pass for safety reasons, a bent frame that is restraightened cannot be as strong as before.. so whover has an accident next time may have a much worse time. Soo.. if its not a clean title the car has to be atleast like 80% discount repaired, if repair was done by your local neighbour and not the official manufacturer.
I will say, it would be cool to see you guys do a Ford GT40, there was one on scrap life garages channel at a copart auction not sure if it's still there or what the deal is but just saying that would be a nice build
Wow these comments have really gone down hill... Glad everyone is enjoying the content so much.. it shows! I personally love these guys and they do things that most people never have done or ever will do. But the haters are REAL out here
Dear Bros, The Mercedes’ G63 G is indeed a beast of a car and you’ve repaired the wreck beautifully and just like a brand new one. Everybody will understand that you won’t sell the car because you can have a lot of fun by owning this very reliable and multi purpose car. Look forward to your next vlog and send you love from the Netherlands
I like the thumb nail where you say never buy one , i am sure the dealership who supplied all the parts and drove hours for delivery likes the fact you are telling your viewers not to buy the product they sell although considering what you paid for parts they probably dont care and yes the cost is the biggest issue but Mercedes attract a cliental that can afford it . Great job on the rebuild , you guys including Vtune are masters of their craft . Plus your test track looks like a movie set or should be ..
You Guys never fail to amaze! Looks BEAUTIFUL! You guys should consider converting it to a 4x4²! See if it would be worth it! But that would be amazing to watch
Is that gonna be Pop's vehicle? A while back he was asked what kind of build you should do next and he said a square Mercedes. Well, this is that square Mercedes.
Def not a moneymaker. I’m with most of you, they’d lose around 15-$20k if they sold it. But doing projects like this are how they get content and views to monetize their channel. In the end, prob worth messing with it but I think not as worthwhile as most their builds.
Suggestion- I'd love to see you boys give the new builds and old builds a full service like oil changes, air filter and fuel filter changes. I guess if this comment gets a few likes other people feel the same.
Even with this g wagon, I just saw them adding some random oil without knowing what it had earlier. They did not change the filter either. They don't show routine maintenance or they never do for years 😅.
