Spray foam insulate the container before you put those plastic MB parts in the container. It literally gets hotter then a sauna in there in the summer and can warp those parts. 🙏
Yeah cuz it probably will melt some of them pieces how hot it gets in there it'll probably get close to 190 degrees and there.. so either go to harbor freight and get the fan with the electrical that connects to the solar panel and have a fan sucking too hot air out or spray foam it
I'm guessing you missed him using a ratchet-strap to pull his last fix,and using the PICK side of a body hammer on a Flat surface, instead of his frame machine parts and a hammer and dolly??I think a 150K truck needs Yuri and Nate so it'll drive straight again.
@@bryduhbikeguy I'm guessing you must have conveniently missed Ben having to help with the rolled over Lamborghini Urus and the rolled over Porsche 911.
@@jerrywilcox9890If you think they just got it after working 4 times with him then think it twice. Framework is not bondo and paint....you need to put in hours to know where, how and how much to pull. Vtuned and his brothers been doing this on their shop for years. Ultimately, this car will end up either given away or sold, either case it needs to be 100% right otherwise it might become a future liability.
Since I'm not there to look closer but I've had the best luck lining up a roll like that by internally pressing from the passenger floor to the driver to corner as it will bring the walls over at the same time then straighten with bracing as needed. Just a thought.
100%! I just commented explaining the push over pull method...and I wish they would atleast get measurements printed off and get a good quality tram. Ultimately a laser measure system or spansi but atleast tram and measurements instead of pull to fit....ugh..lol
Pops has such a fun time working with Simeone and Eleazar. Peeking behind boxes and pulling Eleazar's leg, literally! :D It's amazing how fast this Gwagon is coming apart.
True, years back we stored valuable Air Craft spares at mission area (deployment) and ran into such issues and rust on steel objects. We had to run A/C on it
Love the G Wagon. The only lift kit I would recommend is the Portal axels. Basically it would turn into the G square. Engines are also quite easy to tune and get tons of power.
You have to ventalte those containers, they become so hot and humid everything gets mouldy and warps. Insulate it, get a whirly bird thing for the roof and weather proof it.
The never seen before content on the builds from this channel is unfathomable😅 great job guys!! Proud of how hard & far you’ve come, what a motivation to us all. Cheers
If you put your new shipping container against the shop wall and the container, you can cut a doorway between the 2 then you have access from inside and won’t have to take stuff out in the weather for storage. Just an idea for y’all
If only one could! Land of the free doesn’t allow stuff like that unfortunately. Attached dwelling, need permits. Once it’s “attached” to the garage it changes everything 🫤
I miss and wish their unleashed/podcast channel would have become more. Them telling stories in their parents garage and the one everyone was anticipating when they revealed their real names. They even had a hard time telling a story about a time they disagreed or argued. I wonder that count now, how often and the situations. Bring back the unleashed channel, the awkwardness and struggles to be themselves unedited made those few videos and that channel great.
Definitely think you guys should consider getting one of those huge sheds that has double garage doors on each end with a side a door. and it’s like a nice addition to the property. And perfect place to store 3 or 4 builds.
Dehumidifier and desiccant will help keeping parts in pristine condition. Humidity in Tennessee could affect them long term. But hoping you guys have a quick turn around on this build! Keep up on the awesome content 👍🏼
Cars are designed to crash, but only once. In most places when the crash safety structure is compromised like this the vehicle can never be registered again.
be careful storing the interior in a trailer or storage container put mouse traps and glue boards in there mice will get in trust me and they will destroy that interior, been there done that, also the shipping container after several months of being closed will start to smell like mildew.
You guys should definitely make this a 4x4 squared. They are very rare and very cool. They have portal gear lifts and all sorts of carbon fiber parts. Would be a great addition to this g wagon! They make full kits to turn it into a 4x4 squared.
Another part of goonzqad history gone forever R.I.P. Bertha. Guess you have to be brutal. How's about another shipping container added as a paint room, you need one to do all your mixing. There's always something to buy, onwards and upwards. Great vids guys as always, many thanks.
In case anyone is curious, the boys paid $94k for that G-Wagon, if they can fix it for around $30k i say they got a fantastic deal, clean title and similar spec, year and even with more miles G-Wagons are selling for over $200k, i know they will never get 200K out of this one but they got it for a good price! Can't wait to see it finished!
That is an amazing frame machine they probably have a way to lower the whole machine. Thought of something while get a brabus type of wide flares kit that would be good for a wider stance and tires making a more stable ride.
Duuuuudee.. since you're already stripping it down and since this is a tank that you're working on, would you consider putting armor to this beast? Bullet proof windshield, glass doors and kevlar linings? ..it would be awesome!!!
I think it would be great if you spent more time organizing your garage. Maybe hanging tools and stuff on the walls. I am so organized because of hanging things on the walls instead of just building up on a shelf.
You guys are awesome I like the work u guys do in detail... good work keep going 👏 like this, to be honest ur living my nd my best friend dream... Love to watch u guys it's been more then 3 years i have followed u guys love to see all of ur family working together helping eachother awesome 👍 👍😊 This is my favourite 4x4 from childhood love it G-class.. Well there goes big Bertha guys I remember you fellas doing so much stuff with that machine man, I remember it was leaking hydraulic fluid loosing power but still got most of the things you needed it for done man, in sure you guys will get your selfs a new big Bertha lol! 💯👌👍
You need to buy a mini barn to store your parts in, much nicer looking then a shipping container and they are not a bad price! I deliver them for a living
Man watching the beginning of this video brings back memories when ya'll first got the lift Big Birtha was the first video I seen and haven't missed one yet. Me and my 4 year old love what yall do. keep up the great work guys stay safe God Bless ya'll and yalls family.
I totally agree with many other comments. You guys get much love from your community as you routinely involve your dad with your work and it demonstrates the love and respect you have for him and family in general.
