That green was the key factor... high gloss over satin just makes sense and should be easier all around. Can always do satin clear ppf. If you do, please actually wait long enough for paint to cure to avoid the very preventable paint damage issues you've had in the past from wraps.

Watching this video this morning and thinking to myself: You guys have come SO FAR since fixing up that house that had been hit by lightening years ago. Seeing you in your OWN paint booth at your OWN shop is super inspiring - tons of hard work, long hours and much sacrifice but I believe you'd say it was all worth it! I started watching you with less than 10k subscribers. Congratulations on all of the success!!!
In the uk we paint the spray booth walls with a tacky paint coating which holds the dust, then bucket and mop the floor before each paint job…. Filters should be good for 3-6 months
When I used to spray for ford in the UK, we had big plastic curtain type sheets that were sticky and would wrap around the spray booth walls and everything would stick to them. The extractor fan would pull them tight against the wall when turned on and we would change them out every week. It was the apprentice job to change them out and mop out the booths daily.
i like that you guys at least tried the satin paint job, high gloss green will still be awesome. also appritciate you guys for being down to do the work. some channels get big and stop doing work and just make it about the cars. love that you guys are staying true to what got you here
First time commenting on your vids, I’m a paint sprayer in the uk for bmw and you boys need to invest in an anti-static gun to help reduce the dirt inclusions in the paint. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
Great video! So glad that they went back to their roots and got back to doing some actual work! Seems like they actually read all of the comments, which were mostly negative, and responded by putting out a great content filled video of them actually working. I hope they keep it up!
Satin PPF. You wouldn’t have to worry about that crazy clear headache. And like you said it’ll protect the paint too. I think that would be a good option. That high gloss is clean though.
Right on Guys the green looks amazing! Won't be long till we see a road test on the Mercedes! I am really looking forward to the Challenger build! You might think about a totally custom mix of Plum Crazy that really pops for that one. Looking forward to the next video!

Water the floor before painting so the trash sticks to it. Go see from AMMO NYC, the Porsche 964 video and you will see what’s the best paint job possible. Hope it helps!
Hey guy's I've been noticing that you are kind of struggling pouring paint from those 1 gallon cans take some some 2 inch painters tape lay one across the lip of the can on one side and put another on the other forming a V in the middle of the two at the lip make it is sealed at the lip all the way to the V when you pour the tape will keep it channeling through the V and you will minimize spillage by about 95% .thank you guy's for channel and keep it coming.
That high gloss looks awesome.U guys know what u do.True about the matt.If i get a dent u have to paint the hole panel.So the high gloss its better.Nice work guys

I agree I went to visit them and Simon in my picture was cool but his brother was kind of a d*** I still love goonzquad but like I can tell they def have changed an I went to see em a few times and it's like well damn ya know someone looks up to you why treat em like trash but yet I still support em watch their vids etc just not to fond on how they turned out I've watched them since they started RU-vid as I started working on cars and can tell you they've changed
high gloss was the winning move here. matt is novel from factory but gloss shows way more detail! and you can easily wrap it matt so you get the best of both worlds in an easily removable step. love it!
You MUST find a way to make those side rear windows removable. That window/door opening looks amazing without that rear glass. Modify the glass frame so it can quickly removed anytime

The AMG looks sweet in Gloss finish, good call. I hope you also paint the break calibers too, black or even yellow would work. Please also do the Matt wrap for protection too.

Guys you gotta start switching up to some unique colors for future paintjobs rather than sticking to "regular" colors. It really makes the entire build whey more interesting. That green suites the GTS so damn well!
Thank the lord you went with the shinny I think it looks a million times better . To keep the trash down something overlooked so often is make sure you clean down your air hose thoroughly as it’s always dragging the floor and moving trash around! Damping the floor is always a good thing to do to …cars gonna look nice in that colour I love it 👍
Just use a matte or satin PPF and wrap the entire car. You will have both of what each of you like. Best part is, the PPF protects the paint underneath for up to 10 years, AND when you take it off the paint is perfect and now you get to enjoy it in a glossy look. By that time, you will be ready for a color change, or a different feel to the car. It's a Win-Win for both of you!
