A rare look into a Cummins recon facility. All the latest cleaning and measuring equipment combined with a thorough engine run in to assure proper temperature and pressures. This adds to long lasting trouble free operation for many more years and thousands of hours! But seriously it's incredible what you can do with pure determination. It will probably do the job just fine
Very nice Turbo Diesel overhaul. It will last another few decades. Amazing work done by Pakistani Engine rebuilding technicians. No one in the World can match their talent. God Bless them.
A rebuild without a single torque wrench. A few decades I give the engine a few days! As a Caterpillar ASE certified technician of 32 years it’s not going to last sorry!
@@bryceandbrylen9522 that’s just to laughable! You can’t tell what 90 pounds of torque is by a popping wrist. I build at least 4 engines a week and work on all different types of tractors and machinery and bottom line is the pressures inside a diesel engine are so severe that you have to use a tool such as a TORQUE WRENCH to properly tighten the bolts or you will ultimately have a catastrophic failure bottom line, period. We have been using tools such as this since Henry Ford started building the model A car. I am 50 years old and I have been doing this since I was 18 years old. I’m sorry there is the right way and then there is 3rd world wrong way.
@@bobbywright2100 that 12v is toast ignore the "by hand torque" guys man as an Engineer I can say with certianty that 6bt is not going to many places it sounds all wrong too
Good job! Yes, it's stoneage but after this "repair" the engine will run some hours again and none were injured or killed on the job - what more do you want?
MI PADERE NUNCA USO UN TORQUIMETRO Y NO REECUERDO CUANTOS CATS Y CUMMNINGS JONNDEERESS ENTRE OTROS Y SI HUVO FALLAS PERO NUNCA DE BANCADA NI DE TIEMPOOS O CABESAS
It won’t last I didn’t see a single torque wrench! How do they expect to do it correctly without one. I say give it a week and it’s going to explode!!!
@@achuthan9250 there is a show called MythBusters go look it up. I can’t remember what episode number it is but it is a proven fact you cannot tell exact torque just by feel FACT!
Ok Pete show us how it’s done ? In the same circumstances. not everyone has thousands of dollar’s worth of tools and tbh I would trust that then any engine built in the west
