Considering there's sealant on most parts this has been rebuilt, probably not too long ago. And i noticed he lined up all the gaps on the rings on the same side...wow.
The days before ratchets, ratchet wrenches, air tools. and having clean surfaces to set things on to prevent dirt/rocks contamination and scratches. If this engine was previously rebuilt in the same conditions, it will have such complete damage. Do you work in wind blowing dirt?Day off?
