would you rather her keep clothes she barely will ever wear or has grown out of when they can go to a perfectly new, loving home? it’s not as shocking as you think, she sold her old clothes and now gets to buy new clothes with said money that she will wear more often.

She could have had 10 pairs that were ill fitting, old, or maybe just lower quality than what she wanted, and exchanged them for just a few pairs of higher quality, better fitting etc pairs. Idk for sure just an idea. 😁

Idk cause I grew up poor and I’m Not as rich as Amber but I have money and I hoard it. I am so cheap. I have an irrational fear that one day I’ll wake up and everything will be gone and I’ll be living how I did in my youth. Idk why.

I agree with you but I think your thought is not the whole thing. Yes she may grew up poor or not with a lot of money to spend (I don't know if she was really poor but I think she lived very differently to how she lives now). She always wanted to live a glitz and glam life with money. She became that and shopped and over consumed like there was no tomorrow but like she says she had a new realization that completely shifted her way of thinking and view of life. She always said (maybe jokingly maybe seriously) that she's addicted to shopping but she always was a business genius with reselling stuff she didn't want anymore to make more money. Like spend money to make money. She's way more humble more (not saying she wasn't humble she's such a lovely person but in the way of thinking about consumption she's more humble now). Ofc she likes to spend on vacation and still buys designer things but the overconsumption really has changed. If you have money why not spend it and have a glamorous life with designer items. I truly think she loves that life but not with overconsumption. Bless her I'm so proud of her that she had that change.

Amber has done well for herself, but she did NOT grow up poor. She went to Pepperdine university...

@@beckyiskoo This is what I think happened. Amber did those major hauls from Amazon, plus having bought Amazon clothes for years, it just started to pile up everywhere. It probably really frustrated her. She decided to get rid of all of the cheap stuff, which of course she couldn't make anything reselling it. She obviously parted with some of her designer things. Not shoes or handbags, as she showed us, but perhaps some clothing. She is definitely a spendthrift, deciding she only deserves the best of the best. It just feels very wasteful. My hope is that her ardent followers aren't getting in over their heads with credit card debt, believing what she encourages, that we all deserve to have what we want, the best of everything.

I hope you are able to love yourself more and to things that make you happy soon, i know how you are feeling rn and just thinking that you need a fresh start is the first step. I am sure you will get there!

So many great tips here...One thing I did that helped was I literally sold as much as I could and using that money I built a new wardrobe ❤

Go for one purchase a month: the most impactful thing u can do is to get a current pair of bottoms: think wide leg straight leg, mom fit anything except slim fit jeans or cigarette trouses The same basic top would look different A trouser, a Jean, a skirt just 3 purchase will upgrade your look

Maybe she donated the items 🤦🏻

OR maybe instead of attempting to reprimand her for what she’s doing in her life, and wasting energy online complaining about it. Use that energy to go do it yourself.
