That’s what happens to all the madden scrubs when they play an actual defense that can adapt to them spamming the same play every down not to mention 95% can’t read a defense to save they’re lives they have no safety recognition and they have no concept of not throwing into double coverage or the fact that they don’t have 6 years to throw the ball on these lower end teams and on top of that they can’t make quick reads so they throw super late too just no Football IQ whatsoever it’s painful to watch to be honest 😅

It would kinda cool if recruits instead of just wanting like “B+ or better Proximity to home” if some recruits wanted a Low proximity to home, like “C- or WORSE Proximity to home”. There are absolutely kids that go to schools specifically because they are far from home. But having one dealbreaker be different than all the others could be confusing for some people so I get why it’s not in.

tip for recruiting only target 10-15 players depending on recruiting hours at a 1-2 star school make them all 4 star needs anda 5 star or 2 and only send the house until you unlock all 3 motivators then hard sell and schedule visits ASAP. and ofc make sure every person youre interested in gets a scholarship you arent gonna run out

Ive found a lot of times, the gem/bust has more to do with potential and dev trait where star rating is more overall. At least in situations like the one with the 2 guards that looked the same. The normal one might have normal or impact dev and cap out at like 78, where as the gem has star or elite and caps out in the high 80s, even though they both start at around the same overall. Development is crazy, Ive seen as high as +13 for a player in one of my offseasons, and its usually the gems who are developing crazy like that.

I’ll be saving up for a PS5 and this game this upcoming Fall. I have a part-time job in the Fall covering high school football on Fridays at my local radio station. Can’t wait to play some college football on a next-gen console. Also the reason it has to be a PS5 is because my sisters like the backwards compatibility. We have some PS4 games that we would still like to play so anyone who tells me to get an Xbox Series console sorry but thanks for the suggestion. That could change in the future though.
