muito bem, voce fala Portugues agora ? 😊 I studied the language decades ago, out of fun, in MIlan Italy, but I studied the Brasilian version, the only school of Portugues in MIlan at that time. Lots of fun. Our teacher told us to read a book by George Amado, Os Pastores da Noite ... I traveled to Brasil and went to see the Pelourinho (mentioned in the book), stayed at the Hotel do Carmo, former convent, saw a Capoeira, bought an LP of Jair Rodriguez that had a song I loved so much ... had a great week there. Love to watch yr videos, you're a couple who traveled a lot, that's how you have an open mind - and that house is going to be fabulous 😃

Impressive house re-construction! I was worried that less of the original structure would be salvageable-what do I know? If you have any wall that needs to be re-placed, with such stunning views, you might concider glass walls. They seem like good workers. Até já.

It’s the holidays and you have come down so early in the morning, your parents set up the Christmas tree while you were sleeping. . . Ya, same girl, all eyes bright, ear to ear grin as you check on the house re-building progress. . . I can see that child, still in there, all shining, and in awe of the magic happening right in front of your eyes.

I discovered that you can accelerate videos on RU-vid! I did not want to lose anything although it was so long and then... magic! I saw everything twice as fast. And I learned so much! Thank you! You could bring a potted plant up for decoration on the new(ish) veranda. 🍀🏵️ Just kidding. I am like you, don't really like cement, but it's something they can hide later. It's coming along, starting to see a plan coming together. Yay for rain on the garden and trees. Saves one chore not necessary. That view is spectacular.🤩

How does that "water level" thingy with the tube actually work? And I'm amazed at the skills of these builders. It looks like they're "manana manana", but they actually work quite fast...they look so chill and relaxed! Awesome job again, Dan & Meraid!

Like a time warp going back 50+ years the way they build. Almost no modern tools, no battery powered equipment, no lasers. Just lots of back-breaking labor. Poor buggers.

Who is the boss of your builders? Have they worked together for many years? Are they related or just good mates? Do they specialize in restoring old buildings? The “kid” should have a body builder’s muscles from all that heavy lifting.

Why do builders always build in the rainy season? It's dry 9 months of the year, but, no, they build in the 3 months it pours.n😂

You need to buy yourself some clip on bluetooth microphones. We can’t hear you describing the process.

That is one sturdy floor. Seems a bit overkill to put down the concrete blocks then pour over cement! Used to seeing the blocks forming a flat floor as time saving and easier.

Sros essa casa fica segura porque não foi tudo ao chão .e faser aleserço seguro ,aqui no Canadá 🇨🇦 fazem uma grande foudation com cimento e ferro ,e nos lados da casa toda cimento ,aliserço ,e depois construem a casa 🏡 com 2x4=. + 2x6- nas cornas parece-me. Eu não estou a confiar nessa casa 🏡 se era eu ia toda abaixo ⬇️ e faser casa terreira a bengaló , voçês vão para velhos e as escadas 🪜 hoje tudo sofre ,dos joelhos +Anka etc Mas vos ê que sabeis. Faser casa cômoda ,quanto maior mais despesas ,mais trabalho na limlezas etc se era hoje eu tinha comprado ,bengaló ,hoje são muito procurados.e não Os Á. A falta de land ++ 👎👎 tudo quer 🏙 🌃 🌆 cidades ! As cidades não cresceram ,e o povo tudo quer cidades 🌆,estão nas cidades como sardinhas ,,etc etc 👎😬Sros desculpem.
