@@uivahI’m pretty sure the decision was mostly Ben over Jimmy, at that point they were both contributing a lot and they went with the younger option. Saddens me as a sixers fan as well tho.
@@rigdigby4910 nah both tobias and jimmy were up for extensions after that kawhi shot and we genuinely decided to pay toby over jimmy and thats when jimmy signed with the heat
Gotta say how much I appreciate the fact that you work a full time schedule and then come home and still have the time and energy to make great vids for us to watch.!
The Blazers before that summer of 2016 when they gave a bunch of awful contracts out would be a fun one to rebuild, see if Dame and CJ are a backcourt that could’ve won it all
Would like to see a what if Kawhi didn't get injured in the 2017 WCF by Zaza? Only could imagine what that Spurs team could've been if he didn't get injured. They were dominating the Warriors and then Zaza happened
A fun rebuild for this database could be the Pels, you can either choose to build around AD or you could do a different trade with him (maybe trade override a different trade that was rumoured back them) and blow them up
Definitely a what if team. Especially if Kawhi didn't hit that shot. Another obscure what if team I think would be the Raptors had they not got Kawhi. Obviously they ended up winning a chip, but that team being the one seed the previous season looked really good and were looking to run it back. Also, it has to be mentioned that the Warriors lost both KD and Klay, Curry wasn't beating the Raptors with Boogie and Draymond. Not trying to take anything away from the Raptors, but it has to be mentioned that worked in their favor
Raptors went through 2 legitimate contenders just to make the finals, Embiid, Butler, the MVP Giannis and his 60 win Bucks. Ultimately the Raptors finished 2nd place in the league that year for a reason, they were simply the best overall team in the league all regular season and playoffs.
@@KP-wt8qr Like I said, I wasn't trying to take away anything from that team, they were a well rounded team that won the championship. But I believe some people would say that had KD and Klay not gotten injured, the Warriors would've won, which is why I also said that was an advantage for the Raptors. I believe that, just my opinion though. Raptors did get their chip regardless, and like you said made it to the Finals for a reason, going through Philly and Milwaukee
@@JoeArce210 I also think that the Klay injury is a lot of revisionist history, people act like he missed tons of time but tend to forget the Raptors already attained a 3-1 lead before Klay's ACL injury happened, in game 6. They were also 1 Lowry 3 point buzzer beater away from winning in 5.
@@KP-wt8qr Agree to disagree. Despite the Warriors being down, I still saw them winning the series, they had been able to comeback when being down 3 to 1 once before so I'm sure they could've done it again. Just taking that stacked Warriors team, but I acknowledge the Raptors were a good team as well
@@JoeArce210 The numbers really don't support your argument though, you can also consider that the Raptors were a Kyle Lowry buzzer beater away from winning the series in 5 in Toronto, Lowry put up a shot at the end of game 5 and if it hit they'd have won in 5. Raptors were just the better team.
Ever thought of what if rebuilds? Think you could make interesting content of trades or transactions you would’ve rather seen happened. What if the warriors traded for k love back in the day or if they stuck with Monta Ellis instead of Steph. Really think you could make some fun ideas out of that
That was for sure sixers year. And golden state was banged up so i dont think they wouldve been able to throw enough bodies at the guys we had at the time
This might be hard to do but do another one in the 2018-2019 season but try and get Paul George to join the raptors with Kawhi Leonard instead of them joining the clippers. Or do the 2020 season and win with clippers, since Patrick Beverly said, “That if the bubble never happened, we would’ve won the championship that year.”
3 things that are for sure in life: Death Taxes SROS hopping in to force deciding games.. For real.. hop in early games. Forcing close games in game 6 or 7 is cheap.
this might not be in the last 10 yrss, but what if you do a warriors rebuild from currys rookie season, but you are not allowed to bring in draymond green, klay thompson, and steve kerr. I would love to see that.
