Great job making your own side windows. I struggled in how the rubber weather stripping fit against the top. Ended up trimming the rubber. I think you will be mildly surprised how well the bugeye soft top keeps you dry in heavy rain.

Nicely done Ian, I was wondering when you fitting the sliding window in the frame it will go between the the filt and the frame, but that was probably not the case

Thanks Rene. The sliding window goes in the 'U' shaped channel made by the felt.

Awesome! I’ve been wanting to see how you got the weather seal on and the plexiglass (Perspex) panels in as I’ve always heard/read that that task was quite a bear. It’s wonderful to see those perfectly clear panels rather than weathered, scratched panels that you can barely see through. I bought the side curtain kits from The Bugeye Guys. I never looked to see what my frames are, so it hope I have a fit!

Hi Ian. Great videos! How did you secure the fixed plexiglass so it doesn't slide? Did you re-pinch the track or use some other method? Thanks!

Thank you Ross. Your guess is a good one... I did re-pinch the track.

Great video Ian. I’d recommend you putting some felt under the brackets that fix the side screen to the door otherwise it will scratch your paintwork.

Thanks Matt. I will probably put some thin rubber on the under side of the brackets; felt might be a bit too thick.
