I use more shortcuts than you but still have a similar time. That means that you're very skilled, if you watch Boethiat's (sp?) video I bet you will go even faster with the extra time savers! Nice job!
@@TigerMC2 I’ve had experience with the psvr so well I think it’s bad for doing skips but it is still possible to do skips on psvr and tracking literally dog doo doo
np These strategies are a little outdated so if you really want to get the best possible time then I’d recommend doing more research or watching some of Boethiah’s Stunt Runner videos, but these strategies will work nonetheless 🤗
No not like moving the thumb stick up or down I mean actually pushing the thumb stick into the right controller like when you start sprinting on the left controller
My proudest accomplishment is that I once made it just 3 seconds past what would’ve been s+ without a shortcut, I was simply either on massive amounts of cocaine or connected to the speed force..or both

I’m on Oculus Rift and I press the right stick to slide. I only slide when I hit the ground having a lot of momentum so it carries. If you slide while having no momentum built up, you’ll go slower.
Idk if anyone has said this yet, but there is a shortcut at 5:48 that I found where you stay out of the room, grab the speed boost, move right, and slide on the wall of the whole room and you can just about skip the whole room and save a few seconds (i think, speed boosts might change it but it seems much faster)
Sorry to do this, but... 0:13 Stumbled while getting over the box. If you went to the right at the start you could have just jumped on top of it. 0:22 Could have jumped to the build board to your left and wall ran off it to skip a large portion of the climbing sequence. 0:27 Its a good thing you knew to jump behind the right wall to skip some climbing, but reaching for the boost can on the left just before would have let you gone fast enough to just jump straight to the platform instead of having to do that last bit of climbing at the end. 0:31 You can just walk off that ledge and just land on the platform below, but you jumped instead and that wasted some time. 0:37 Right there, with good timing, you could have jumped off precisely and landed straight on the next wall you had to run on, saving you a chunk of time, but you jumped down to the platform instead. 1:32 You wall ran to get past that gap which inst even necessary. You can just leap around it. 1:49 I am not expecting you to know this but if you grabbed the can at the top middle and made a sharp left, you could do some tricky wall run sequences outside of the game bounders, and end up at the finish afterwards. It saves A LOT of time! 2:48 You might have wanted to do a quick wall jump off the beam to the left of you. If you get the angle right you can launch yourself on top of the padding, and jump around a small section of the course. 3:02 See that build board to the right? You could have wall jumped off of it and the wall to skip the entire corner you took instead. 3:27 See that tiny vent to the right? If you did a quick wall jump off that you would have gotten a tiny boost. 4:54 Most of caution you did pretty ok, except if you would have jumped way the the right on that blue wall there, with some tricking wall jumps you would have been able to skip a large portion and dart straight to the finish. 5:52 It angers me that you took the lower path instead of the higher one which was much faster, since you didn't have to climb as much. 5:59 You could have just jumped to the right on the first bouncer and skip that entire wall. 6:22 Glad you noticed the shortcut there, but on the last wall you should have just let your character walk off, but you jumped off it causing you to crash into the wall ahead. 7:38 You took the path on the left, but the right one was slightly faster. (edit: nevermind I saw what you did there. I didn't know that was possible, nice.)
I hate how these terrible runs get thousands of views, while there's DrPovertyShoes, whose world record video has fewer views than this channel's sub count. I literally have a 4.09 PB, so watching this, and seeing how people think that this is amazing really upsets me.
Understandable, but with RU-vid it’s all about the timing. Assuming their runs weren’t made immediately once SR came out, mine became popular because I had published this video a few days after SR was released. That’s also why a lot of the skips are outdated or not used. Just checked his channel and found out that his first full SR video was 3 months after this one, so yeah

Hope you still play Stunt Runner, because I'd love to see how the runs turned out after a little more than a year.
@@KittyRubz Also, I really meant to say I was upset that videos that are more outdated outshine the ones like the world records, even now when the world records would help others get better. I just think that the newer videos should get a chance to show up when you look up something like "Stunt Runner World Record." For some reason, the best you'll normally find is the Boethiah and Rocko videos from when 4.45 seconds was a legendary time.
