As I have said before, your willingness to admit a error is admirable. A lot of people these day would not.

This video proves that you are big enough to say that " there may have been an issue" when you fitted the winch seal last time. Looking at the quality of your work I have reservations that it was your issue but anyway credit to you guys for showing the video anyway. Condition and usage of the equipment says a lot from an unqualified outsiders view.. Great stuff, 👍 from me..

When you see a company stand by their work & fix something that was their mistake it should make you more likely to purchase equipment from them. No person or company is perfect but standing by your work & fixing things is what seeperates the quality companies from the rubbish.

The wide track pads can cause excessive rail wear if the tractor is running on hard and uneven ground. Also, they are running over a lot of stumps. They may actually need narrower pads for their operation, especially since the rails are not as heavy duty.

As always, great job. I appreciate you providing long videos to have time to show more of what you are doing. Good you warranty your work like you do as that is what sets better companies apart from the bad ones. Hunter and Tucker are growing up fast. One problem using dozers for logging vs skidders is dozers are better in steep terrain but only short hauls. Hauling too far with a dozer will wear out undercarriage faster. Keep up the good work.

If you are going to use anaerobic sealer on metal clad seals you must first remove the coating on the outside of the seal, I usually remove the coating using 400 grit sand paper with a small amount of brake cleaner. Anaerobic sealants only cure between two metal surfaces. And when anaerobic sealants are used with gaskets and other materials the odds of developing a leak are much greater due to the uncured sealant creating a leak path.

That was unlucky, I remember the rebuild a lot of time and effort went into that. Your customer base are really lucky to have such a genuine guy, who's also ready to take something back, those shims are so thin I am not surprised it was faulty. Nice seeing Hunter working with his dad, he's going to learn a lot and that doesn't include fixing a dozer wynch. And those dozer tracks, they are not designed to be that tight if they are that tight they are going to jump, its simple physics. 👍

An eclipse is quite a weird thing to experience - we had a 85% cover here back in the 1990's which made it pretty dark for ten minutes of howling dogs and disoriented birds. That poor dozer has certainly suffered some abuse since leaving your tender mercies - but it will be a costly lesson for the owner! Tracks and running gear must be adjusted correctly - too tight is just as bad as too loose. You need to send out all your sales with a copy of Goldilocks!
