Right? They already got done saying it won't be on the label because it's not an ingredient. How are you supposed to check?

As someone who went through the american education system, I could be wrong in this assumption and I’d love for someone to correct me if I am wrong but it’s my understanding that the entire point of us citizens funding a government is so they protect us citizens from bs like this?! This government has been protecting the business’ killing the citizens funding them for a very long time and the paper trails are there for us citizens to see! One of the positives of my chronic gut issues over the first two decades of my life was I learned about this in 2008 when I quit seeing doctors and healed myself simply by changing my food choices. Figuring out what to change was not easy at all but in a nutshell all I did was truly buy different food. It helped that I read “Skinny B!tch” two years prior which surprisingly dived deep into the lack of action from our 3 letter organizations to mitigate the foods that were already known to be killing us (not to mention half that book is sources to back that statememt!!) I was VERY naive when I read that thinking “there is no way the EPA knows about all of this and is truly allowing it to happen”. Then two years later I start to heal my “textbook crohns” on my own by removing gluten, dairy and soy. Because gluten was hidden in all the preservatives and fillers of foods I started asking what is this and why is it in this food. Then I started actually researching the ingredients and learned VERY quickly poo is legit f-ed. It didn’t help that my pre med roommate at the time of my 2008 journey worked at the CDC. The things she told me still make me sick to my stomach. We shouldn't have to ensure our food is safe! That’s the entire point of all the certification stamps! Always remember CERTS CAN and ARE BOUGHT.

Majority of the food in our stores is poison what she said is actually kinda true it's on you to make sure you're checking these foods but the catch is no one truly knows just how dangerous the ingredients are. They playing mind games I personally wouldn't give kids that processed cereal even before the pesticides were found.

This is what happens when you have too many regulations. When you have too many rules they all seem the same. Then you get companies claiming that they're following all the rules even when they're not doing what's right. We should be reducing the regulations and just keeping the ones that make sense.

Whenever they label something as "generally recognized as safe", what it really means is that you're not allowed to sue for having been poisoned. It's all about legal immunity. Its job is to protect its partners in the food and drug industries, and that's where it gets over 90% of its funding. It couldn't care less about the taxes that you pay. It's just pennies to them.

Yeah but organic is relative...unless something's changed, anyone can call anything organic. And even the USDA Organic certification still allows for stuff like pesticides. Dunno the specifics, like if those pesticides are less harmful somehow, but they're still allowed. Nothing is perfect. Not saying organic doesn't help, but just that you shouldn't let it lull you into a false sense of security. Being informed is always best!

Bill Gates makes organic foods but they lied about that too because they found this full of garbage and pesticide but you paid more if it says organic

That is upsetting. They should do like some companies that at least alert their customers that their product is made in a facility that also contains nuts, wheat and other things. They should at least mention this item was covered with a pesticide at one point. The 2 women that are telling people it's their fault they haven't looked the info up, are being guilted/gaslighted for not trying hard enough to find this information. Yes, people are busy, but it's because we're kept busy. And we, as customers, buying their products, shouldn't have to delve so deep into the internet to try and find this information. Customers can vote by not buying the product. If companies won't be honest and openly supply information as to what's in/on the food they sell, then I'm not paying.

Some of them are but they don't think we will ever look them up or check out what they mean but I did and stop buying those cereals that contain BHT in them. Also I have stop buying others as well.

normaly people don't have a problem with panera but you do and its good you found that out since you have an alergy and you can avoid it so it doesn't get worse. that said we do need to use stuff to keep our food from being eaten by bests and free from diseases. it is just unfortunate that many of us cannot have all the chemicals used or that some of them in high enough consentrations can cause problems.

I am suspicious that you were reacting to glyphosate from Panera. What tests did your doctor perform? Tests from a lunch sandwich (225 ppb) showed this is below the recommended daily intake for glyphosate which is 1750 ppb/day. And you said you only ate there 1 or 2 times every two weeks.

That is why it was only said once. Since I was young, I’ve always heard how we have the worst foods and they expect us to keep eating it. Traveling abroad always showed me how much America does not care about the health of its citizens. Most of us know that we have the most unhealthy eating habits and unsafe foods. That isn’t a secret. However, we live here and have to make conscience choices. It is also the reason why our “healthier” foods cost so much more than the unhealthy ones.

This is why I source my food from local farmers who do not spray their produce! There are no other farms in the local area that might even produce drifting of chemicals from their farms. So I feel pretty safe sourcing my food from them. It’s so scary now where to get your food and to know it’s absolutely safe. Pretty pathetic this is what it is! 🤬

They don't effect human nerves without high concentration because of human physiology (our nerves are too large so they will not block them) but I'm not saying this shouldn't be looked into.

In 2019, the US govt mandated that in 2022 all labels had to state they have altered ingredients. They blame Biden but just like covid, this was under trumps watch, which his administration approved and then held off on telling consumers they are ingesting poisons until 2022. 3 years later.
