Just received mine and it only takes a second to install and problem solved. Looks good and did the trick what more could you ask for! Thank you for the product and the shipping info so I could track the part.
I have recently bought one. I does really great job! There is no play between recievers at all right now and the installation is pretty easy without any drilling or any other destructive methods😀
Thank you for the video! I just purchased one of these recently and it came in the mail today, and I just didn’t know where to attach it before finding this vid. It was very easy to install and works great. I wouldn’t say it fixed the problem entirely, there is still a tiny bit of play if you try to wiggle the receivers, but it’s astronomically better, and almost unnoticeable now. I’d definitely recommend this to any scorpion owner, especially if you can find them from a US seller. If you buy from Ascalon, shipping to the US is about $50 :(
My suggestion would be to just cut two pieces of black or color matched electrical tape to length, roll them, stick them to the two sides by the pin of the lower receiver. Works great.
With CZ you never know. You can find pieces that don't need any fix at all. And you can find some that will have some play everywhere. This shim wasn't designed to remove side to side play.
@@tomdreu8455 With shim you won't lose your warranty and it's plug and play. To fix side to side play you have to redrill the hole first and thus your warranty is gone. That's what you're dealing with. There's always some trade off.
@@ascalonarms9156 that’s not entirely accurate. Its redrilling the slide release. Doesn’t interfere with function of pistol. I sent mine in to CZ with the aftermarket part and they still worked on it so that’s false
The spring effect will come when you insert it to the cavity in the receiver. And yes, it is suprisingly soft if you just play with it in your hand. If you're not happy with it than ship it back and we'll give you a refund.
